Wow, the package's description is pretty unhelpful, isn't it? Just really noticed that for the first time. Well, Loser's (AKA Andrashi's) individual changes are too numerous for anyone to even comprehend, but here's an overview of most of them:
- Backbreaker made about 2x more powerful to encourage stealth
- Made combos more escapable to discourage spamming
- Removed invulnerability from some super moves to discourage spamming
- Removed unblockability from supers; they might still cause stagger/damage, but blocking helps now
- Shortened front-facing throw ranges to discourage throw spamming since throws are unescapable
- Removed invulnerability from knockdowns and blownups to allow team attacks on a target
- Cut wasted time out of some animations like Mukade's teleport anim, making him less easy to Lariat-spam
- Removed some invulnerability from getups and getup kicks
- Ensured that all character classes have front and back rifle and pistol disarms
- Misc. bug fixes
Wow, I should put that in the package description, eh? ^_^

So I'm the only one who can't pull off back breakers and throws consistently, eh?
You can call me 3llen. It's shorter and simpler.

I can't seem to understand how OniSplit works. When I start it, a black window comes up, says a bunch of codes and text, then says: "Press any key to continue", then, it exits and does nothing.
I just want to edit some textures and modify the game a little bit.

Use the oni split gui by demos_kratos.

I downloaded it, run it, and try to decompile a sound to a folder, and it doesn't do anything. Any ideas?
Remember: I used the correct decompile file format, and the correct folder, yet still nothing.
EDIT: In the little batch file that's open with the GUI, it says:
"C:\OniSplit.exe" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Every time I try to Decompile something.

You need to have onisplit.exe in same folder of the gui, I think.

Heh, that's a problem of my GUI. Vista and 7 forbids it to do anything to C:\ directory. I should've make it to use TempDir. Try to run it with administrator privileges or something. Or wait a sec, I'll release a fix
EDIT: Uh, I released a fix already...

Yeah, dreamlab is pretty much a bitch. Using all packages makes it even more of a bitch. I think I need to make Muro just a little bit less kickass, as he wasn't intended to be so damn powerful at that point.

I tried using all the packages, and also running on Hard Mode, and the best I could do to Muro was break his neck a few times, kick him in the jewels, and complete a few punches and kicks, leaving him with around 65% of his health before he broke my leg to death... twice.
I can pretty much announce it: Whoever beats Muro in the dream lab with all packages running on hard mode is a very experienced Oni player.

I'll take that as a challenge.

Reassuring: it took several attempts, but i did.
Of course it took even more to get out of that battle healthy enough to survive till the next checkpoint…having one checkpoint (or maybe an hypo?) just after he's gone may be a good idea…

I could kill muro, but then the invisible ninjas kill me, because of my low health.

This. I kinda flubbed the ministrikers. And then I met my mortal enemies, the ninjas. And then the game lagged up on my because I'm on my netbook and had the graphics up too high. Then I died.

You can run oni in a netbook? I have a asus 1005 pe and it lags too much. Probably because windows 7, in wine it lags even more.
