What was your first job?

Since I'm getting my second job soon (which I guess is my first real job)...

I just wonder, what did ya'll do for a first job or what did you do to start making money?

Stocking shelves on night shift, get home at 1:00 AM. Every day the same thing.

I was a paperboy 4 years ago. Now I'm currently working at the pharmacy delivering medicine to older people. (The tips money is great, by the way) big_smile

Data entry.  It wasn't exciting, but it paid okay and I developed mad skillz on the numeric keypad.

I'm trying to avoid standard retail and fast food, which is why I don't really have a job yet. Although I guess I could say that I had a paper route for over a year when I was younger.

Re: What was your first job?

I currently work at a small burger place located on the block beside my home. I've been working there for over a year and will probably continue to work there for quite a while longer (if they don't shut down).
Protip: do not get a job at Wal-mart or other large corporate places like that - working there is most likely hellish.

I wouldn't be too optimistic, it must be hard to run a non-commercial burger place.  They really just give the burgers away? wink

You keep using this word... I do not think it means what you think it means.

Janitor.  Without us, your world will degenerate into chaos.  Other than that, I've picked onions, roofed houses, and other odd jobs.  Haven't found a real job since the janitor one though.

Re: What was your first job?

It's where people go to buy the boards.  Although, I have worked with a sawmill as well.
