Actually I'm trying to make to make shoot plasma. First it charges (like the WMC or VDG charges) then it will shoot rows of plasma. That will be awesome.
Now I need to either try to make it smaller or find a smaller model.

ONIrules: In your 3D program, you can resize the object. It will be called scale or transform. You will need to experiment to find the right size.

Plasma Rifle SUCESSFUL!!! I still need to edit the ONWC files. Will upload the files someday. It will be w24_psr since you guys are making the Rocket Launcher (23rd weapon)

ONIrules: That's great! We need more people who can work with 3D models. Later on you might want to look at this: http://wiki.oni2.net/AE:Importing_character_models You can work with the models of the characters.
And even look at this: http://wiki.oni2.net/AE:Levels We can export the level's geometry, but no importing for now.
So there's lots of stuff you can do!

ONIrules: Do you have a site where you can upload your file? If not, you can try here: http://wiki.oni2.net/Special:Upload
Then go to this page http://wiki.oni2.net/w/index.php?title= … ction=edit and then you can add description and link to the weapon. Be sure to use the Preview button to make sure everything looks good before hitting the submit button.

I don't get it. I was importing my rocket launcher and then I have this flickering thing that turns on then off when I move closer to the screen while I was using the Developer mode. Is this is because of the reflection or something else? (just the first import so its not the completed version of the weapon yet) Also this is MY version of the rocket launcher.
as I moved closer to the screen I got this.

I've never experienced that. Perhaps if you can capture the problem with a video and post it on Drop.io, it may be easier to figure out.
Or it could be something as simple as you fired the rocket launcher and it broke the camera! :-)

Just for the record, the wiki only allows the uploading of images (and only in a handful of formats). That's why I hope to establish a page soon for Oni mods in the oni2.net domain. Unless someone else wants to. But in the meantime, Ed's good old standby drop.io is a fine method to use.

Good thing that ModTool have polygon reduction and polygon counting option (also counts triangles) or else it will crash already.

Gumby: The shooting is not the point nor it shoots straight or a curve. I'm talking about the weapon. While holding the weapon and moving towards the screen it flickers on and off.
Download the file RocketLauncher http://drop.io/ONIrules I suggest making a backup of the level0_Final.raw and level0_Final.dat. Also after done testing (there will be a crash when you are exiting Oni because of the flickering thingy) go to your folder and deleted the files I gave to you (so next time the you recombine it will NOT recombine that file). Then copy and paste the backup file into the gamedatafolder.

Ok, watched the video more closely... you dropped the weapon the first time without the screen going black, but the second time you were closer to the camera, so when you dropped the weapon, it had the same effect as when you moved closer to the camera while holding the weapon.
Could it be that since the weapon does not have a texture, that's causing the problem?
BTW, how are the TRAM improvements coming along? I noticed the Loser finished his part.
EDIT: Wow, that rocket launcher has 1998 poylgons and 2999 vertices. Maybe you can try reducing the counts some more.
