More Onisplit questions - M3GM\TRBS

In the help menu for Onisplit, it says

-create:m3gm <target directory> [-tex:texture_name] obj_file
-create:trbs <target directory> dae_file

Does this mean that you can ONLY make M3GMs out of obj files and ONLY make TRBSs out of dae files?

If yes, this makes my job easier. If no, is there any way to tell them apart?! (M3GMs and TRBSs)

To keep it simple, I say yes.  That's how I did it.

Just a note for importing M3GM, OniSplit needs 3 files, Sample.obj, Sample.mtl and Sampletexture.tga (PC can use other formats)

Hmm. I noticed that your GUI doesn't have a space for inputting the TGA file. How does it know what to use?

Re: More Onisplit questions - M3GM\TRBS

I tried to create a m3gm file using this command:

-create:m3gm d:\ -tex:b1.tga b1.obj

The obj, mtl and tga files were located in the same folder where the onisplit.exe is in.

Unfortunately, onisplit told me: "no input files found". Why is that? In which folder do I have to place the files?

Perhaps you can change the d:/ to a folder name like m3gm and see what happens. Also, I assume the mtl file is named b1.mtl

Hooray! Adding a folder name did the trick. Thanks, EdT.
