anybody played halo 3 ? i played halo2 with hack for windows xp and it was much worse then halo 1 halo 1 and oni is kind of nostalgic games cuze the square graphics..
Offline
i agree with that, halo one was much more classic and simplistic playing, much like oni
"He looks mean enough to tear my arm off and beat me to death with it. In fact, he looks mean enough to tear his OWN arm off and beat me to death with it."

i hate halo. But i know its a great deal of fun and revolutionized a lot of shooters these days, Go bungie
And now halo is going to prolly get more expensive for every game

the worse halo is gonna be , the less they gonna do any shooters.. i wonder if there is 1 fan of oni, in Bungie organization.. i mean like top jobs and such which can choose the games..
also what video games did bungie make besides Halo or Oni, worth playin?>

Indeed, all of Bungie's games were worth playing, at least from Pathways into Darkness on. The Marathon and Myth communities are still thriving to this day.

How's Platinum?
If we don't change the direction we're going, we'll likely end up where we're headed.

Well, I would say that it is an average pokemon game. The story is nice, the new pokemon aren't ugly (like in s/r/e, my opinion), the 3d implementation is welcome. However it's have some bad aspects like it is very short nothing like a gold or a fire red. After you beat elite 4 you don't have almost nothing to do without be to full the dex. Also it don't introduce anything really new in the series.
I would rate it 8/10 or 7/10.

I don't play anything except thoose and a few more:
Quake 2 (My first game, on pc, when i was 2)
Freelancer (my most played game now)
Oni ( I loved it as a kid and i love it now for its atmosphere). It has to be mentioned here too!
Half-life (mostly 1 but the whole series, its my favourite since i was 5 or 6)
Warcraft III( was and will be soon a great game i am going to play)
Doom 3 ( Played it a bit, this has the most horrofying atmosphere, and is better than its expansion)
Quake 4
Rock'n'Roll Racing, Lost vikings, a few metroid games for gameboy, gamecube.
Harry Potter 2 (i think 1 was good too, and 3 too and 4... i have to play it again next week)
I mostly play puzzle games like chess and sudoku and other FON to DUE games. I love adventures based on books, and i would like Warcraft III as the best strategy game.

I only have a few games because I am a very picky gamer. I currently have installed:
Battlefield 1942
-Road to Rome
-Secret Weapons
-Desert Combat (most recent release)
-Stargate mods (both)
Call of Duty 2
Call of Duty 4
Diablo 2
Doom 3
Ghost Recon (the original)
Halo
Left4Dead
Bolo (OS X port)
Oni
Spore
Starcraft
Warcraft III
Stubbs the Zombie
Unreal Tournament 2004
Portal
Half Life 2 + E1 & E2
Maelstrom (OS X port)
Kudos to anyone that knows what Bolo is. That game was the starcraft of LAN games back in the day. You can tell how long I have been gaming when I am 18 and still have my original Marathon 1 install disc and manual. Bolo really brings back great memories of times I would play with a bunch of my dad's friends on a massive LAN on a friday afternoon at the office.

Wow i can imagine the tears it brings back when you play a game and realise all the good times you had with the people there and then. And when everytime you get back onto the game, you remember what you guys will always do. however as much as we loved those times, we can never turn back the clock. So lets treasure whomever we are enjoying these games with so that we can remember how gud those days were
And yes guys, that includes all of you. You guys will always be in my memory book. *group hug*

I loved Bolo. Never really got to play it with anybody, though. I'd just open mutiple copies on my machine, network them over a fake AppleTalk network, and play against the bots. Fun times.

Do you play AlephOne these days?

I must have been 7 or 8 when we played, but it was so much fun. And after I rediscovered an OS X port of bolo recently, (a few months ago), just yesterday I found some code for it that tells you how to read map files. I am thinking about making a new OS X map editor just for the hell of it.
As for AlephOne, I use to play a few years back, but I do not play anymore. Marathon was my jumping point from games like bolo and sim-ant to games like Diablo and later on, Halo 1.

Due to PC games being hacked as fast as hell, SW: The Force Unleashed for PC now added to my favorites list.
