The Wish List

I'd create this thread to see how you guys would imagine a sequel, or just content for the game.
Everything is allowed, just throw out your dreams!

I dont have time right now to write a story about my imaginations, but I'll do something later.

Re: The Wish List

I'd like to find out what Konoko does later in life when ever she defeats her own brother Muro. I wonder how Konoko would survive after all the damage everything was done. Certainly she'll have to survive on her own now. That would be cool if Konoko had to face a new enemy. I need to know if she still had the crystallis and what she would do with it after accomplishing her mission. After the long ass mission she had to do. I bet she would be chilling eating Pizza and relaxing after all the hard work XD

Re: The Wish List

I'd been thinking of this: she'll be thrown to Vladivostok after Compound's Big-Bang. And she'll be lying dormant there for over 50 years. My phantasia ends here. Just dunno how to continue.

Re: The Wish List

I think it'd be cool if something similar to our joint story played out where some big corporation started implanting chrysalises and mind-control devices in everyone.  Then Konoko would have to fight a bunch of badass daodan soldiers and other enemies.

If we don't change the direction we're going, we'll likely end up where we're headed.

Re: The Wish List

I would go with the first part of our joint story ... it had a nice sequence, story and action and appearances from all fav characters, and could be made into a game ... I can't say abt the second part as I haven't read it.

Re: The Wish List

Remake of the first game. The industry loves remakes however this one is more than justified. Hopefully make it possible for a good end. Mutiplayer. Add the stuff that was left out. Some new content.

The ending of Oni was just too bleak for a sequel.

You can fool some of the people all the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time

Re: The Wish List

I think a sequel could be war agianst BGI, as we don't really hear that much in the game about it, other than it's a suspected Syndicate front, which makes it even more interesting.

Re: The Wish List

I want a certain ninja leader alive. Probably not like an enemy, just a piece in the puzzle who'd appear out of nowhere, make the player run into him constantly/search for him, then have a mysterious conversation that'd mess up/reveal everything, and vanish. And, of course, I want Oni world large, things breakable, streets walkable, vehicles you can ride, all that stuff.

she'll be thrown to Vladivostok after Compound's Big-Bang

Her Chrysalis would help her to survive... I hope. big_smile

• Ragdoll physics for falling people.

• An outside the city level.

• Multiplayer, Co-op, competitive co-op, versus, ffa, ect.

• Ability to skip cutscenes.

• Iron Demon fight.

• Cell Shaded graphics.

• Drivable vehicles.

• More interactive environment. (Boxes move when hit, ect.)

• Blood

• Better stealth elements, and diagonal sneaking.

• Zoom for sniper/Bow.

• More variety in enemies.

Re: The Wish List

Most of what Jon God said. Cel-shaded graphics I could do without, though. Considering how nice realistic graphics are these days, I'd rather have that.

- Animated faces
- full physics engine
- more realistic throws
- less violation of conservation of mass

What violation of conservation of mass?

Iritscen: it's amazing this program even works
Gumby: i know

Re: The Wish List

I was thinking of the cutscene before the final fight if you kill Griffin. It's not the fact that Muro becomes a giant monster that bugs me (the chrysalis makes that vaguely plausible), but the fact that it happens in seconds rather than, say, weeks. Also, I don't recall there being a good explanation for his near total invulnerability.

>_<

Why does everyone thinks the plot is that complicated? The only point of two different endings is something like "Kids, killing your boss out of hatred is bad and fate will punish you".
