Oni Joint Story, Second Installment: Punishment (Page 5 of 5)

"Get ready to drop in 5...4...3...2...1.." Said a female computerised voice and immediatly, Vernon felt his drop pod detach from the ship with a loud burst of steam. Vernon can feel the G-force acting on him as everything begins to black out. But just as the last sight of light entered his eyes, it reappeared with a shining glow with a loud crash as it landed on a sandy ground. Instinctively from all his past missions, he pushed a button and the hatch of the pod was flung open and he jumped out half expecting enemy fire from around him.

  "This is Vernon from alpha squad. Where the heck are you guys?" Asked Vernon. A few seconds after that, several loud crashed could be heard from a distance. "Touchdown! Ready to rumble. Leme kick some arse." Said Eric, the ever-ready machinegunner. "Alright regroup. This beach appears to be silent. Beware of land mines, I see a couple of it beeping from where I am." Said Vernon, the obvious team leader.

  Alpha squad reached the rendevous within a minute after touchdown. "Something is wrong, we should have been ambushed by now. Alpha team, clear area!" Said Vernon, on his helmet mic. They entered a pretty run downed building with its doors smashed open. Blood was visible everywhere. Scratch marks on walls and floors. The room was filled with stench of dead bodies but they still went in. "Alright guys this is our new stronghold, this will be our main headquaters until command sends us reinforcements." Said Vernon, with a partially whispered tone.

  "Hey Vern, come check this out. Looks like bitches to me, what do you think?" Said Marvic, the sniper. Vernon turned his attention to Marvic and took the sniper from him. He put his eye onto the scope of the sniper. "Wow, they look more horrible than before. CI more and more horrible each day. Taking anyone and making them their test subjects." Said Vernon, with a slight sense of pity. "So they take in anyone and then implant the crysallis which is more powerful than any of ours and then see if it works? And then what do they do if it doesnt works? Just leave em there?" As soon as Marvic finished his sentence, a loud sound of fire came from afar and blood splattering out of the "zombie's" head could be seen. "No. Thats what they do." Said Eric. "Okay, this building has been locked and our status is being tranfered to base." Said Gary, the tech expert.

  "Ah... what do we have here... a blue red coated guy. Hmm a leader, why would they send a leader by himself to check the dead body." Said Marvic. He zoomed out of the sniper scope and saw another sniper looking right at him. "Oh shyt!" And he pulled the trigger ejecting a small but deadly bullet out of the barrel. It went through the Sniper's head and he fell back from his sniper. Blood spilling from everywhere. The leader must have heard the death of his comrade because after that, he ran back in the direction he came from.

  A rocket, fired not far from the building, smashes into the building. "Vic!!!!!Vic!!!! Are you Alright!?" Said someone in the room.

----Summary---
Introduced to a new environment, Singapore.
New team - Alpha team consisting of 4 members, Vernon, team leader. Marvic, Sniper. Gary, tech expert. Eric, machinegunner.
New fortess made. What heppeneds next....?

I do agree, and i also think we need a general plot summer somewhere, cause this one has me kinda lost... too much stuff happenin at once, which is why i havent been posting much, i dont know whats going on >_>

Yep thats pretty much it. Dam everytime i hear or see someone saying a guy and a girl making love my heart gets thumping really heart =.= I think ive got heart problems *left for the doctor*

To Mukade: Nope no more new environment. Was thinking maybe we should make them meet and save it for the final fight ? But still we need to stick onto the title "punishment"

Haha.    Damn, I thought you were gonna be writin' the next part.

Oh hell I never noticed that Singapore post until just now.  I hate to just ignore your work, Stevin, but I don't think anyone is gonna write for them since we don't really know who they are or what's going on with them and we have other stuff goin' on back with Mai and her people.  Maybe, like you said, they can become a part of the story later on.

That being said, the last part that was written about the present action with Mai was by me.  So anyone else want a crack at that?
