Not being a modder

but rather a player, not interested into watching scripted combats and being of little competence competence with lengthy code lines, is any mod of interest for me ?
I'm not much into fashion so changing character clothes doesn't really interest me either.

Re: Not being a modder

So...you are looking for a mod to play?

Have you tried OTA?

Changing characters isn't just a fashion statement, it changes your moveset. However, yea try OTA or Gumby's Konoko vs. the world mod. Or (a personal favorite) try out gmsly's remake of the first tctf level.

Jazz_Ad: Does recombining some levels interest you? I mean..we have new weapons (most of them is from me smile), characters, Gumby's Project barrel, and other stuff. The Modifcation Diary have all the mods we made so far.

Re: Not being a modder

Maybe you are wondering how to use those modifications in here: http://oni.bungie.org/community/forum/v … php?id=717

Just simple, if you see an .oni file(s), just put it in the 'level0_Final' folder (or other folder if it is said). The 'level0_Final' folder only appears if you installed the Anniversary Edition (you can find it here).
After that, recombine the level 0:
-If you are using Windows, use Gumby's Recombiner: here
-If you are using Mac, you can use his recombiner but remember to put the stick in 'Sep'
There are many modifications for the AE in .oni format. You can find it it the section "III. Characters" or "IV. Weapons"... in the link at the top.

If you see an .dat or .raw file(s) (or .sep file(s) if you are using Mac), just put it in the GameDataFolder and it will work without recombining, but:

You will need to download the latest version of Oni that has plugins enabled:
For PC users dowload this: http://paradox.oni2.net/mods/Oni_level_ … retail.rar
For Mac users, just download this: http://edt.oni2.net/AE/Oni.zip

If you see an .bsl file(s), put it in the folder which it mentioned. That's the scripts.

I think after trying those things, you will be interested in modifications smile.

This is the tutorial about scripting: http://wiki.oni2.net/BSL:Tutorial/Scratch

Or else, I think the easiest for you is:
-Install the developer mode: http://wiki.oni2.net/Developer_Mode
-Try something interesting about it: http://oni.bungie.org/community/forum/v … 9788#p9788
