Re: Question About Dev Mode

Yeah, it makes enemies fight better, though this "better" is not so much. Ex: Normal Muro usually performs "punch-punch-punch-punch" combo on you, but "ultra" Muro usually performs "punch-punch-punch-leg break" (or may be back-neck-break). Ouch!

Make sure when you type any cheat codes, the "caps lock" light is always off - or it won't work. So actually the cheat is 'thedayismine'. :)>-

Re: Question About Dev Mode

Nope, on the Mac its "killmequick"

VitalFlame: Here is a list of commands you can try in Dev Mode:
http://wiki.oni2.net/Developer_Mode#Hotkeys_2

Now if you press ~ and cannot see the letters CMD: it has to do with the game resolution. On some resolutions the letters will appear such as 640x480 but others its invisible.  But you can still enter the commands but blind.

Re: Question About Dev Mode

Try running Oni with the "-noswitch" or "-ignore_config" arguments.

Iritscen: roll
Iritscen: it's amazing this program even works
Gumby: i know
Iritscen: and that statement applies to my code, not just yours

Re: Question About Dev Mode

Vital Flame: If you are still having problems with 640x480 and can't get back, open Anniversary Tools, there is a button that says Window Mode, click that, then Oni should start in a window and then you can change the game resolution in the Options menu.

What is the size of your monitor?

Re: Question About Dev Mode

Vital Flame: Have you tried other resolutions to see if the CMD: appears?
But other than that, do the other Dev Mode commands work?

Re: Question About Dev Mode

Vital Flame: I meant using the hotkeys: http://wiki.oni2.net/Developer_Mode#Hotkeys_2

For example: while in Dev Mode, hit the RETURN key, now try moving Konoko. The camera should stay steady and Konoko can move away from the camera. Press RETURN again and now the mouse will control the camera angle.  A final press on the RETURN key will get you back to normal mode.

If you want to move the camera add the following to the key_config.txt file

bind p to man_cam_move_forward
bind l to man_cam_move_left
bind apostrophe to man_cam_move_right
bind semicolon to man_cam_move_backward
bind leftarrow to man_cam_pan_right
bind rightarrow to man_cam_pan_left
bind rightshift to man_cam_move_up
bind rightcontrol to man_cam_move_down

Re: Question About Dev Mode

Have your tried other resolutions besides 640x480? Such as 800x600?
