what's the difference between easy, normal and hard?

I saw the cahraters from ssg.oni2.net each level,it seems that the charater's health are same in easy, normal and hard, and when I was playing normal or hard ,I didn't feel they are different...so I want to know what's the difference~

Easy, normal, hard, affects the player & enemy's health, weapon's accuracy and blocking chance.
The details can be found here:

Correct me if I am wrong but seems overpower works for more time in easy than in hard.

Re: what's the difference between easy, normal and hard?

In addition to what EdT said, certain characters (typically enemies) are "upgraded" on Hard. See http://wiki.oni2.net/CHAR, http://wiki.oni2.net/ONCC and http://wiki.oni2.net/ONCV
That's why on ssg's overview pages you'll sometimes see the picture of a Red Striker even though the model field reads "striker_med_#". That's because ssg took the pics on Hard.

@ Script10k: That's just because overpower is specified as a percentage of full health. So you get more overpower on Easy. And since the decay rate is the same, it lasts longer, too.

So, you're saying that using a hypo at/near full health gives you more HP above 200 on Easy than on Normal?

On Easy your base health is not 200 but 260. Overpower doubles that health, so you get 520 HP on Easy, as opposed to 400 on Normal and Hard.

Wow.  I never realized that health could exceed 400.  I guess I can use char_set_health to set someone above 400HP on any difficulty level, huh?  Also, I might be missing it, but I searched the wiki and don't see any mention of what max health is.

Huh. Searching the wiki for "health" gives you quite a few hits.
The relevant hits are http://wiki.oni2.net/OBD:ONCC (0xC58)
and also http://wiki.oni2.net/OBD:BINA/OBJC/CHAR (0x1C8)

Yes (chr_set_health or chr_health is the correct name)...
but any overpower will drain by 60 HP every 11 seconds.
If you want the health to stay high, you have to hex-hack.

Re: what's the difference between easy, normal and hard?

Those "hits" you gave me don't state maximum health, do they?  I mean, I could calculate the maximum value that you could get from that many hex digits, but is that the max that Oni allows when it reads the binaries?
