So I played oni (not the anniversary edition) on my system (win 7 x64) with no problems.
But when I installed ae I always get the error above when trying to run AEInstaller 2.

…which has a ton of different potential solutions. I would say that you should consider whether your antivirus is blocking AEInstaller2.jar from running. Also, go to the Properties for AEInstaller2.jar and look for an Unblock button, as seen here: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/wp-conte … nblock.jpg . If you don't find a solution by doing those two things, maybe try moving the whole Oni installation from C:\ to your user folder, in case it's a permissions issue.
