(...with my new experimental editor.)
This was an attempt of making a Lightning shooter weapon of kinds. Not very impressing results, but ended up pretty well, so I decided to upload it.
Install and keep switching weapons with F7 until you see a VDG with a big red aim.

Oh, of course! I'd love to see it. Still, I think some modifications must be made before the AI can use it well, so tell me before you use it so I can do a major update on this.
Changing the color of the sparks is also on the to-do list. You can suggest what would look better along with the shocker.

Neat particle weapon. Now tell us more about the experimental editor...

Ohhh, I wasn't sure if I should expect this question, but here we go...
Some time ago, before my... uh "hiatus", someone (so sorry, can't remember who x_x) suggested making an editor which could express XML nodes not in an usual tree, but in a "form" of kinds.
The user, for instance, would be able to change the values of the nodes/properties using not only simple text fields, but also combo boxes, check lists, and what-not; effectively serving as a general interface for XML modding (particles, ONWCs, weapons, et cetera).
In theory, the editor would know how to build the form suitable for each file type according to certain, say, "specification files". Although they might not be actually required. It is also able (confirmed feature) to convert directly from and to .oni, completely destroying one step of all the work.
Anyway, I am trying to assemble this idea into an actual editor. To be honest, it's coming along well, but I prefer not to tell names or show images because everything is subject to change and experimental. I hope I can finish this, lots of time I don't release anything.
EDIT: actually, I *might* post a screenshot soon.
