sad does it happen often ?

The thing is : having a sword on his back (black and dante outfits), or the ponytail on the red one or the cape on suit one ... increases the size of the binding\collision spheres or whatever they're called.

So his punches become inside of the sphere and don't hit enemies and throws become impossible ... Edt informed me about that. Before release i noticed the black outfit's dragon claw doesn't hit enemies well and he's unable to pull off running throws.

The solution for that is :
1.either decrease the size of the spheres by decreasing size of sword, cape, ponytail .. I tried that it wasn't enough to fix throws, and they'll look bad if i decrease them further.

2. The other solution i thought of was increasing the size of the fists and feet by adding a long invisible polygon to them.
So the punches and kicks can still reach the target and get outside the sphere.
However i think doing that made the plasma rifle particle hit the polygon of the fist and thus damage himself.

So i don't know which is better :
1. decreasing/removing swords and capes to fix moves and shoot fine, but have models look bad

2. or keeping the models as is but then throws and punches won't hit targets but he'll shoot plasma rifle fine

3. or elongatings fists and feet like i did thus keeping models look and fixing throws and punches. But affecting plasma rifle.

If it's something that happens only sometimes and only with plasma rifle not other weapons then i think that's an ok compromise as he'll be using throws and melee more than that one weapon.

It happens almost every time with plasma, sometimes with smg and campbell.

btw any chance that black hayate have the ninja teleport effect? I miss it in the old china mod.

edit:

Even in game there are characters that have big accessories but that don't have this problem. For example the wings of this ninja:
wingsym.png

Maybe you can have a look at that model and how they did it?

I don't know how they did it sad  ironically hanako doesn't have that problem though she has a big skirt and a long sword as well.
I need help with this cause my information is new about those spheres thing hmm like how are they created or calculated ? They wrap around the mesh or depend on centers or how ... i hope there's a way to edit the spheres without affecting the model, maybe in xml or something.

If i add it to the ONCCs and upload the ONCCs here can you do me a favor and update the package with the ONCCs ? Cause i struggle with uploading and the hayate package has become big. I'll see what i can do with the gun issue as well.

u have to put each ONCC and each TRBS in the correct folder inside the character folder .. red in red ... easy minion in minion\easy etc ..

this is all i can do with the model with keeping punches and punch throws usable sad I'd rather have him not be able to shoot than to not be able to use his moves tongue as he's not supposed to be a weapons expert (prefers sword), but this fix should be good enough in establishing balance between the 2.

so script if you can update the package with them. and thanks for your feedback and reporting the issue smile

p.s it never happened with the plasma rifle in my tests though only with the black adder.

Also black hayate have now the ninja teleport particles. big_smile

-Added a classic \ syndicate outfit
-fixed bug with throws on vdg stunned enemies
-fixed bug with picking up pistols by the wrong hand
