Just thought I'd share this for anyone else that wants to use their Xbox 360 controller to play Oni on OS X.
First you'll need a driver for the controller:
http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/Projec … /OsxDriver
This only works with wired USB controllers (plug and charge USB cables don't count). If you only have wireless controllers, you can buy a USB Wireless receiver that will also work:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000 … B000MGVAAQ
Once you've got your Mac receiving input from the 360 controller, you'll need to setup mappings for the controller to Oni's controls. To do this, you can use a piece of software called ControllerMate:
http://www.orderedbytes.com/controllermate/
It's free to try up to a certain number of mappings, and for 20 minutes of background use but you'll need to shell out $15 USD to buy the unrestricted version to map all the controls you need and use it for any serious amount of gameplay.
It uses a highly flexible and customisable system of building blocks to map inputs to outputs, and as such it's very complex software, and pretty intimidating to get started with, but the website has a lot of useful info:

Here's my mapping file for Oni:
http://james.wheare.org/stuff/Oni.cmate.zip
You'll likely want to tweak this to your preferences, particularly the sensitivity/deadzones on the analog sticks, and the inputs/outputs may need to be rebuilt to work on your system, so it's more a guide than anything, but hopefully it'll save people some time.
Let me know if you have any difficulties getting it to work, or for pointers on how to change specific settings.

Awesome. Windows has a similar (but free) program called Joy2Key.

Iritscen: it's amazing this program even works
Gumby: i know
Iritscen: and that statement applies to my code, not just yours

Welcome, gholsbane. Although I haven't tried a controller with Oni on my Mac, I have been known to use the PS DualShock when I play emulators. For that, I used USB OverDrive X, which is $20.

Does anyone still use JoyToKey? 'Cause if they do, I have an Xbox 360 controller profile for it.

I just came up with it 'cause I was bored. It's a whole lot less weird than the PS2 version.
