Edt Congrats that's really great, i loved the previous screenshots tongue "she looks familiar" tongue ?

but .. :$ it's crashing when i try to load it. oni blams .. tried it as the only package with same result. what info can i provide to help troubleshooting ?

p.s for both zen garden and ota.

p.s 2 there's an unnecessary file ONCC.camera that was also contained int the arena makes level spawm an invisible konoko as player sometimes.

p.s 3 i tired making it a level 5 instead of 15 .. also blamed

Samer: Try this, go to the level0_Final folder and look for the file TXMPNONE.oni and put it in the junkyard level folder.

Also, in Windows XP, I notice that the GameDataFolder is marked as read only in properties, but no matter how many times, I deselect it, it goes back to read only, any ideas?

I tried the txmp none ( i put it in level-15 in the junkyard package) didn't work

the read only .. actually weirdly, I'm experiencing that too on windows 7 :\ don't know why ... i recall it not being read only before ... but if u are still able to install uninstall other packages then that isn't the problem.

The read-only is a miracle., couldn't get rid of it either. ^_^
However, i've found the problem: a texture is missing, TXMPMAPKIOSK3 from level4_Final. Please have also a look at the hd tex, three of them are in a strange blue. The ID, Motoko's poster, and the little boxes.

paradox: you were right, missing textures were the cause of the crash.  Lesson learned, test a new level as a single package, remove other packages.
Not sure about the blue textures, I don't have that problem, they are normal when extracted.

EdT i think when i'm downloading i'm still getting the old zip. i'm getting a 12.5 MB zip when the depot says 13.28 and i can't find the file paradox spoke of TXMPMAPKIOSK3 in it.

can u upload the missing textures only ? cz it's still not working as is :$

NO matter what i do i'm still getting the 12.5 zip and without the file paradox mentioned sad i cleared the cache and tried using 3 different browsers.

could anyone possibly post another link ? or just the missing files ?


EDIT : ok finally It's downloading the right one .. i had to use a different IP address :\ weird big_smile

The Iron Demon was blue, but that was it, everything works fine. My daylight skybox is a mess so I couldn't enjoy it very well :V

Anyway there are random spots where you fall through D:
Also it feels awesome finally being inside the chopper ^^'

i still can't download it big_smile been trying for an hour now .. changing the ip address got me the right zip t start downloading but it stopped on 95 % after an hour ...
please sad if u could just upload the missing textures .. it takes me forever to download a 13 Mb file sad

^_- I deleted my post cuz I thought you downloaded it. Whatever. You already have that file. Go to Edition\GameDataFolder\level4_Final\TXMPMAPKIOSK3.oni and copy it to the level15 package folder.
If you see blue textures try the other link: http://mods.oni2.net/system/files/Junky … NoBlue.zip
Or fix it yourself with an hex-editor. 0x109; 00 -> 10

I realized the blue textures were the ones I created using the latest OniSplit, so these were made with an older version.

finally works for me smile love the area seems very suitable for some sort of MP hide and seek tongue or treasure hunt tongue

but some notes .. wish the OTA would already include the custom characters like the video, now it only spawns the syndicate and tctf ..

the Oni Zen Garden .. u removed all the random costume flag .. that does solve the spawning wrong character issue but it is not necessary for example now caren only spawns in 1 outfit, casey out of the 5 outfits only spawns in blue, and the furies only the black haired one same for all other enemies .. konoko isn't spawning for me at all as an enemy don't know why.
leus's ozg arena http://mods.oni2.net/node/178 has the right random costume flags for the right characters.

Samer: You can edit the OTA scripts to use the custom characters, the BINACHAR has the latest characters up to Hayate.  I just used the standard characters, in case people did not install all the custom ones.

Feel free to modify any aspects of the level to fit your wants :-)

i'm not really good with scripts ...:$

anyway i modified the BINACharacter file a bit ... put the random costume flag for characters which have more than 1 outfit .. and changed some melee ids .. i found out the muro's melee fits hayate more than konoko's, and i put him on neutral team, and now using OZG u can spawn hayate if u spawn kojiro tongue tilll leus inserts hayate in there tongue

and i added konoko as a spawnable enemy in OZG .. if anyone wants the file here it is : http://mods.oni2.net/system/files/BINACJBOCharacter.zip replace the one in level15 final of the package with it

I'm really thinking i should work on the melee IDS for the custom characters next ! the current ones aren't using their full potential ..

I've downloaded and installed the package using the AE installer but I cannot find the map in the load list. What do I need to do to access it?


-I noticed that the hackers of oni community made a lot of modifications before they locked me up, do you have any idea what they want with an old game? -Modifications? What kind of modifications?
-Hard to tell, without getting a look at things but it looks like they're repurposing it. -Why?
-Beats me, all the game has is brutal melee combat and furious gunplay. -I dont like the sound of that.....
