Sorry, but even the most cutting-edge game would never use weapons with 120,000 vertices, and Oni is ten years old.  There's an art to using a small number of polys for a model, and it's not an art that matters when you work at Pixar and have a render farm of hundreds of computers at your disposal, but it does matter for game development smile  Ask yourself, would the player notice if a character is holding a weapon, in a 3rd person game, that has 10,000 or 100,000 vertices?  Would they even be able to tell the difference between 10,000 and 1,000?  The answer is "no".

the difference between 1000 and 50000 vertice is very good why ? because the model is very beautiful,smooth,and no default, but i can good modeled at 1000 vertice,i start it to remake all weapon with good renderer i post it between 29 june and 1st july i return after i done it.

can't help but wish you'd start with improving the character models, don't think a new mercury bow is going to make such a noticeable difference, (an all black weapon that is always used from a far distance) especially since it's going to take u such a long time to make it.

here's something that i would totally appreciate ur help with, we are trying to make this character,

we have the head made by another user, however it's high poly count which is causing all sort of problems in the game. If you could, with your skills smile reduce the polycount of the head and still make it look good, then that would be awesome and i could finally start making her.

here's the dae file and the face texture .. the rest of the body will change later but i can't start on the body till the head is done. http://mods.oni2.net/system/files/comgirl.zip

ok, i finish all weapons, i star to work on your model the next week . yes,i don't know who have draw it but it's very beatiful, good, made with a graphical palette and photoshop or with the hand ? i try to make a gathling gun (mercury bullet) ,tazer (small mercury buller) i try to test it at close range, i post some beta weapon the next week or 2 week. after all it's complete if the are a good drawer like this it's very coool to create a SpaceShip Training Area with barabus and cutscene with new speech no ?
