Galaxy on Fire 2

Check this out:  I've been playing the iPhone game "Galaxy on Fire 2" lately, and just realized that there are a few (i believe) Oni References in the game.

1) There's an entire planet named Oni.

2) There's a weapon available named the Scram Cannon.  Unfortunately, it doesn't do the the multiple rocket thing.

3) There's another weapon, although this one I'm not as sure about, that isn't really a direct reference, but the picture beside it sure looks like a WMC.

Re: Galaxy on Fire 2

You sure it wasn't a coincidence, like the coincidence that Streets of Rage is so similar to Final Fight?

Could've been.  I thought it was worth mentioning at the time.

Yes, it gets extremely boring
Final Fight 1 is better
but FF2 is awful

Re: Galaxy on Fire 2

Those games a made by the same company. They also made Fighting Force, and all the games are a bit similar. I doubt Galaxy on Fire 2 is made by Bungie. tongue

I respectfully disagree. Final Fight 1 did not have enough depth or character, as well as lacking the options of 3. While I do agree Final Fight 2 was not to my liking at all.

Why would this be so? I've beaten it on the hardest difficulty many many times.

Re: Galaxy on Fire 2

Too many enemies, game only supports 3 at a time, so theres a total of 15 enemies (5 waves, full lifebars) per screen at a time
Gets repetitive, music is badass though.
I wish Dean got some love as well

Re: Galaxy on Fire 2

Each to their own I suppose, I don't see how FF1 is any different in terms of repetitiveness.
