Killer Combo

Alright, in-case some of you guys don't know, there's a technique where you can kill your enemies with one combo in an entire full on sequence. You can only do this with a Ninja or Mukade. When you confront your enemy hit the punch, punch + kick, kick, kick, punch, punch + kick, kick, kick then repeat this until your enemy is defeated. Your enemy won't have time to recover because your moves are too quick. I like doing this with a red elite on hard level, it's very satisfying.  smile

Re: Killer Combo

That's kool. Umm I just want ask do any of you have a binkw32.dll file? I've got windows 7 and I've installed Oni from my original copy and when I click the startup icon a window appears and says 'CD is missing'. So now I just downloaded a torrent file of Oni and when I click the icon it says binkw32.dll file is missing. So now I have the bink file and Ive tried to unzip and still no success. Any help? I would greatly appreciate this.

IMO, the "ppkkk+ppkkk+..." feels like having a way shorter pause than the "ppkkkk+ppkkkk+..." spam-combo.

Re: Killer Combo

Yes, project Flatline is the current multiplayer attempt, there should be a video of it on YouTube, though it's a few years old.

Yeah, sorry for not having anything new up. I have had to take a break from it to work on other projects, and the entire codebase for it is a mess. sad

We may be small, but it's our passion for the game that really makes us strong and determined smile

O_o That game has only been out a little while. Kudos to them. Having a team that consists of more than two people who don't know what they are doing all the time must be good. tongue

Re: Killer Combo

<---- reallllly wants to help, but doesn't know the programming language

I'm taking programming class, but it's an obscure language used for educational purposes, easy syntax and such. Hopefully when I get that down (and im catching on quick) I can move on to C++ etc..

I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to speed up the process but just can't sad

Yes.

I like the lack of projectile blood in the original Oni, the cartoon color-coded damage indicator is sufficient.
Is there an option to turn it off?  No need to turn Oni into Lugaru.

Like all AE packages, it will be optional. I also toned it down to be a bit more tasteful. The texture seen there was mostly placeholder until I could find someone to make me a better one. (Thanks Jon).

...and if you wanna get technical, original Oni did have blood. tongue
