Major Modification

Hey guys.

I have told my friend about Oni, and he seemed pretty interested, but what he didn't like, was the graphics.
Actually myself I never payed any attention to that, but after he said it, it got to me:

We absolutely need a major improvement in the models and the textures of the game itself.

The people in the game are made from PIECES!
You can see their chest being a completely separate BOX from the stomach! And the textures don't look too good themselves either.

Added to the bad textures and the horrible models, there are the animations. Is there any possible way to add a physics engine to the game to  make the dead bodies ragdolls? I'm tired of seeing Muro's legs sticking out of the wall!

I just want to know if there is any possible way that people can participate in a major project of making the HIGH QUALITY Version of Oni?

Thanks.

Re: Major Modification

The answer is yes, we can improve the textures, I've included some links to past works.  If we had talented 3D modelers we can improve the character models, however, the body will need to be made up of the 19 body parts.  There is no way around that.

Nope on the physics engine.  Without the source program we are limited to what we can do with the current Oni program.

Here are some high quality character textures:

High Res Training room textures:

Both requires the installation of Anniversary Edition.
