Yea now that u think of it...we're kinda repeating histroy slowly.
Sparta and Athens Jointo kill persia
Russia and USA (imp. countries) kill Germany
Sparta and Athens go to war
Russia and USa go into a semi war (COld war)
Sparta wins, then loses to small army
We win, lose in vietnam, 10-1...yea kinda scary

To the time questions: Nah i think why we cant create anything we want to its because of how we think of earth. If our forefathers thought of life and the universe differently, this might help us create whatever we want to now. But thats only a theory, still trying to make connections in my head

Arguably, we made the USSR spend itself into the ground....

The only time travel you will get is if you reverse the motor in your clock so the hands will go in a reverse direction.

Cold in China and England. Cold in USA. 40 victims of severe cold in Poland. Snowfalls everywhere. News scream about the new ice age.

Novosibirsk, -40 plus icy wind.

Where the hell is that global warming of yours when we need it? mad

Global freezing.
Either that, or it gives us colder winters as well as warmer summers.

climate change leads to all kinds of freak weather. For example, increased rainfall was predicted for Germany from the very beginning of the global warming debate and now we're drowning in snow (right now) and having more and more destructive rainstorms in winter (last years) - while each summer is getting hotter than the last. Personally, I'm glad it's snowing because November and early December were so warm here the trees started to blossom, thinking it was spring.

Some areas of the world are getting wetter due to CC, other are becoming deserts. Now the free market approach would be to export German snow to Africa tongue

Warm winter is better than freezing to death, trust me. It often seems to me people today don't know when they are well off.

I personally agree wth the theory that the climate change has nothing to do with human interference. After all, a volcano can pollute the air far worse than a bunch of industrial plants.

Now that's the exact right question. Why do we even try to persist. I don't think we can do anything about it anyways.
That's like: "We disagree to evovle in the future!", that's impossible, just like this hilarious project.

A volcano? Are you serious?
Well, a *really* big volcano theoretically could pollute the atmosphere of the planet to such a degree... but I don't know if that kind of volcano exists...

warm winters are one thing but I probably don't have to go into detail on why trees blossoming in winter would be bad.

A volcano? Are you serious?

It's a proven fact. Volcanos emit more poisonous gases and CO2 than humans possibly can. Often the land next to an active volcano is a dead desert.

Re: Do you think we can change the past to prevent global warming?

speaking of volcanoes....if the one in yellowstone national park explodes...well bye bye west coast
and speaking of warm and cold weather...when its cold people wish it was summer...like waiting for ur ride when its snowing
and when its summer u wish it was winter cuz its so damn hot, but summer is better because the roads are better and there are no crashes

off topic: speaking of car crashes, i hate the fact that the drunk driver survives the cash, but the other person dies, just pisses me off

Re: Do you think we can change the past to prevent global warming?

You mean eruption, if it explodes, it would cause dammage to the earth (tectonically).
There are ways to determine if it will erupt or not. Become a geologist today!
And yes, that is really bad, that the accidental killer survives. But it's badder if you think that way. Thinking bad is punishable, and if you're aware enough you will feel it after, through actions.
I usually don't care about either of the victims because they used a car. I don't like typical cars.

Yeah, they can destroy the landscape right next to them and emit more CO2 in a blast than a city of the same size could. But in order to emit more CO2 than humankind as a whole, the planet would have to be covered in active volcanos like it currently is in cities, which is not the case. So it's a local versus a global phenomenon.

T_W_D wrote:

Well, when it eventually gets cold (February is generally the coldest month here) the trees, having made themselves vulnerable, freeze to death. Also, if the trees bloom when the insects are sleeping, they don't blossom anymore when the insects awake, so the insects go hungry and die and the trees stay unpollinated. It messes up the dynamics of the ecosystem.
