Well, the logo on the left is photoshopped ower with Oni, so I guess the main character was as well.

I first thought it to be a Photoshop because the image of Konoko looks just as it does when rendered with the Oni engine.  However, whoever shopped this did a great job of masking, if it is in fact shopped.  I suppose it's remotely possible that this screenshot was taken from within Oni, in a custom-made level.  But to my knowledge, no one was making custom levels that long ago.

I believe it's a photo editing; whoever did it, did it well, but such a quality is made possible by the absence of smoothing. Furthermore, Konoko's perspective does not match the background's perspective.
It is nice though.
