What have you been doing recently?

Well, still the summer has just begun for me. I have more time and so many things are waiting for me to do. Anyway, I'm feeling so excited.

Oni is always the most favorited game to me. I spend most of my playing-time to play Oni, more than any games I have had. I don't play the original script anymore, not only because I beated the game about 20-30 times but also there are many other scripts are waiting for me smile. Now I often play OTA. I think I love to play OTA so much. By playing it, I have learned that each enemy has their own fighting style and it makes me easier to defeat them if I-did learned their fighting style well. That is the thing that keeps me interesting in playing Oni for so many years. I know, some OTA levels are too hard and some are too easy. I made some modifications to set a well-balance for classes. And I'm going to make some OTA levels too, just combine some features in this level and some in that level..., so there will be a better level! big_smile. Hope I will make some new stuffs for Oni in this summer big_smile.

How about you? What have you been doing recently? Playing, scripting, modding, taking shots, or making videos...? Tell everyone your liking big_smile.

I tried beating the game without using hypos a while back. Only worked in level 1, 2 and 4 so far big_smile

Re: What have you been doing recently?

here's what you do: take outthe weapons.... then try it, makes it so much more fair

you have to go to the BINACJBOCharacter.oni file of each level, convert to xml, go through each character information, and take out all their weapons *especially the machine guns*

those make it so hard tongue

Re: What have you been doing recently?

so wait, Gumby, you're making an AE version with no weapons?

i really dont like weapons sometimes, takes out al the fun of hand to hand, especiallywhen they dont try to defend themselves when theyre armed, or the machine guns that cut udown at close range REALLY get on my nerves

Re: What have you been doing recently?

yes i really hate weapoons i mean occasionally they can be fun but think babout it it ruins the hand to hand especially when you got titan mode i mean you run into a romm and get kkilled by 6 guys with machine guns >.< SO ANNOYING

Re: What have you been doing recently?

Gumby meant that he was working on the AE, not that we have a no-weapons mod planned.  Although that wouldn't be a bad idea to add at some point.

No that's not me, that's Kerr's real-life stunt double Peter Struck, a member of the German parliament.

Re: What have you been doing recently?

Looking forward to your new scrips love oni. I liked your mission 2 arena (can't remember the name of the level). If you could just fix the health bug with the boss characters the stage would be complete.

Thing with Mukade is, he's morefor 1v1 combat, not for groups sad he's gonna be a beast in multiplayer >:)

Which arena? Which health bug?

I can't remember the name of the second level. The one with the brain that wanted feet smile

Muro and Barabus were present on the enemy team however they had a health bug where they would be invincible for say 5 minutes and than after they died they would go down in a few punches. If this was fixed it would be one of the best arenas thanks to the lobby area lending itself quite well to one on one battles like the state building which is my favorite.

@Muro: The arena is not made by me, I just add some thing to it, but there is too much bugs. There are many better scripts in here. Why don't you try them? big_smile
