If what happens?  Not being able to keep the numbering going?  That's Noobitis.  It can strike anyone who gets careless and posts too fast, even those who've been here a while.

Nice #184 there, btw, adorage. big_smile

Re: You know you play too much Oni when...

or the Syndicate Syndrome wink

(If you have the syndicate syndrome you don't try to evade bullets if someone fires at you and when lying at the edge of a high legde you get up with a backwards roll, causing you to fall down. Also, you never learn from your mistakes and constantly overestimate your fighting skills)

edit: the only thing that helps against the Syndicate Syndrome is "MaiMed". I just saw a box of medicine called MaiMed at the hospital. It's a corporation that really does produce first aid bandages and the like... the name sounds kinda cynical to me though roll

Re: You know you play too much Oni when...

186) You try to compare Oni to other shooting games: "They only know pang, pang, pang, why don't they have hand-to-hand combat like OnI?"

187) You keep complaining why they don't make any games like Oni.

188) You try to tell everyone, your friends, your sister... that you are an Oni-lover.

189) And they ask you: "Oni? What the heck is that?"

Re: You know you play too much Oni when...

202)  You used to play a game with your friend on your trampoline when you were younger in which you would assume the roles of Oni characters or made-up characters with Oni types like Ninjas or Elites and then fight as them in a tournament against each other, continuing for probably at least several months of your life, and keeping a Microsoft Publisher table indicating the standings, rounds and who was moving up in the ranks and such updated versions of which you printed out regularly to bring out with you to the trampoline and review/mark.

You know, hypothetically.

Re: You know you play too much Oni when...

Fake 204) You get diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder because you found the HP for every enemy in a game by hitting them with a weapon that does 1 HP damage.

I'm pretty sure I'd already been diagnosed by that point.  wink
