Daodan DLL minisite
There is now a minisite for the Daodan DLL 
It explains the different versions and how to install the mod. I'm not sure how helpful it will be, or how easy it is to understand for new users. If anyone has any suggestions or anything to add, please tell me.

No, the patch isn't done yet for the newest version.

Sorry, I can't find the thread. What was the problem with that one again? It has Italian language support.

the game don't crash, but don't start the developer mode. i have tried with "x" and "thedayismine".

i tried with that oni.exe : the developer mode doesn't work and the dialogues,etc. are corrupted

Have you tried this EXE, with this Daodan?

That is the russian EXE with C-Daodan. If that doesn't work, i'm out of ideas

The developer mode work, the menu and dialogues are normal. but the savepoint are russian and the cheats are english

the cheats in english are fine. but the savepoint in russian no. There is no way to change oni.exe so that the word refers to the rescue is not Russian but Italian?

i tried with a hex editor, i save the changes. i tried to open it and compare this error message "oni.exe not is a valid win32 application" or similar.

The cheats being in English and the saves being in Russian are expected, they're side effects of using the Russian engine. If you want to mod the engine so the saves are in Italian, by all means go ahead. One thing you have to make sure of is that the text you put in has to be the same length (in characters) as the text you replace, otherwise the all the data in the exe will be pushed out of alignment. If the text you put in is shorter, pad it with null bytes (00 in hex).
