lol me and my bro once tried to spam bungie for a oni multiplayer patch but they responded after like 1000 mails to to because they cannot make a game due to lack of recources and too many other projects noobs that they are couldnt even appease us thousands of oni fans all around the world.

Nobody even knows who owns the rights to redistribute Oni source. And making anything for a 7.5 year old game is risky.

but the thing is i dont remember seeing advertistment on Oni or anything how come? Is that the flaw to failure? maybe they did not want to take the risk?

I'm not sure exactly how much advertisement was done for Oni. But I do know that Bungie made their first trailer for it in '98 and their second in '99, and never another one after that. They were also showing it at expos in '99 and '00, and putting up big banners for it, but by the time the game finally came out it seems to me like Halo had taken away everyone's attention from Oni. Maybe Bungie's attention too.

Certainly not having multiplayer was also a big hit to Oni's popularity. A lot of new and old Oni fans would come out of the woodwork if multiplayer were announced tomorrow
