Enbseries and Oni

Hi, i was wondering if it was possible to implement the enbseries mod with Oni.
If you don't know what enbseries is, it's a mod that works with any DirectX9 game (and 8 when you use a converter)
and gives you results like this:
http://media.moddb.com/images/downloads … reen02.jpg (thats GTA SA btw)
It adds bloom, motion blur, reflections etc.
You can download it here:
http://boris-vorontsov.narod.ru/index_en.html

I tried different versions of the mod with Oni but so far haven't got them to work.
The best result so far was using an OpenGL to DirectX converter with the mod, but I only got a blank gray screen.

So, if someone is interested please post smile

Re: Enbseries and Oni

Wow, that's really cool.  Being a Mac user and totally unfamiliar with DirectX, I don't have anything intelligent to say. smile  I just wanted to say that it would be cool to bring that into Oni.  I don't know if Oni properly uses enough modern 3D technology to be able to be modded in this way, but hopefully someone else can answer you.

Re: Enbseries and Oni

Well, the Enbseries exists for alot of games, even oldies like Grand Theft Auto III, wich was released about the time as Oni, so maybe there's a chance.

Mostly those mods require a high-end PC, as mine runned Grand Theft Auto San Andreas at about 25 frames per second.

Re: Enbseries and Oni

Well, Oni uses (a nonstandard version of) OpenGL, which might be updateable, might not be, its a mess though and I don't think anyone really knows it that well. tongue

Yeah this is the problem, it seems Oni doesn't use DirectX.
Like I said earlier, I tried using this GL to DX "converter" http://majorgeeks.com/GLDirect_d381.html
it didn't work so good smile (still, there are other programs like this out there)

Trying to update the OpenGL that Oni uses is a good idea.

Re: Enbseries and Oni

Ok I found this:
http://files.filefront.com/cgshaderzip/ … einfo.html
cgshader
It works with Half Life 1, Duke Nukem 3D and other OpenGL games.
It does not, however, work with Oni.
Can someone try to mod this? I'm sure it's possible. hmm

Sorry, Oni doesn't really have shaders.
