So, i'm going to skip all the boring stuff like how i got it and what not, because im lazy, and get straight to the point:
I have in my posession a burned coppy of Oni. the CD itself is weid because its black and not silver, but thats nothing specal, i'd just never seen a black cd before.
the thing that has been bugging me, is that the installer is weird.
as far as I can tell its a normal installer, its got the onisetup.exe and the onisetup.002 and the gl setup and the readme and such.
but the weird thing is 2 things:
a clean install of the game, and it dosent ask for a CD,
and it works on my vista without the daiodan DLL.
i've tryed it on three different computers, and it does blam for XP (i think, its been a while), but not on vista.
any ideas why its like this?
should i find a way to upload the files to the internet so you guys can take a look at it? or is it nothing specal?

Many newer video drivers have protection against the GL overload. So, probably nothing special.

Do you mean it has a black underside? Some PlayStation discs had this:
As for the CD Check, some EXEs just don't have it, including the one we use for modding.

The EXE we are using came from GameCopyWorld, IIRC. Where did you get the CD?

My Oni doesn't require the CD by default. It was strange for me too.
