Did you copy Oni and place it in a temp folder in your C drive? I did this and now i don't need to use my CD anymore plus i haven't had any problems getting it running.

I don't have the origonal PC copy of Oni. Every 7AE Oni file i have is in the program files folder

If your non-original version* doesn't work then you still can try the demo. Download both then.
( * maybe you mean that you don't have a full version at all. But 7AE need either the demo or the full version to be installed first.)

well, can't find a free FULL version of Oni. gonna have to see what I can do with the demo.

Thats because a legal free version hasn't been released yet.
