I know about a Star Wars game called Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Believe or not, this game has some things in common with Oni, in the sense that the game was rushed out before it was finished, and that people are making mods on it. Here's a little something to check out:
I'm a member in one of the forums of that web site. In fact, I set up a topic called JIAMs in the General Discussion section of the forum. One of the links in the topic leads right to this forum. I did this, because I figured this would be good way to get people interested in Oni, and maybe even join up with this forum. Also, people keep joining up with that forum all the time, which means that people might get interested in checking out my JIAMs topic.

KotOR2 on Wikipedia
Team Gizka's endeavour is indeed close to ours at a first glance. GTA-Whatever (fan-made multiplayer) also comes to mind.
Your_Mom (Mountain Rally scripter, OTA porter, BSL tutorial writer) is a big-time SW modder Could be you know him...
Starting a JIAM topic on other forums, linking to this one from there,
so that more people join this forum and contribute to your JIAM topic here...
Sounds like a noble cause: keep it up (no, seriously, making people aware of Oni is cool)

Behold the power of that which is yet unborn! For the swirling images that flow forth from the Chrysalis are only a shadow of the sleeper's true power.

I just mod SW:EaW/FoC....not KotOR/KotORII...
I've only played these games on my friend's XBox and computer, and must say they are quite...addictive...
Then again, I do work on a mod that adds the KotOR storyline to EaW, so...I guess.
I've heard chatter about the restoration project though. A good plan - readding cut content that shouldn't have been cut, looks like what most modders do...

Not much of a sci-fi-latex fan myself. But the first shot has a nice pose
She needs to go out bad, or has some other tingling sensation she needs
some help with
yoda disturbing? Well i didn't draw it, but saw a painting yesterday which had
a 10 foot tall freakish chick with a purple hairdo preparing to eat some caveguy.
don't know if i should post it here...

I impersonated Vader at a party a few years ago. Wanna see? (only a group shot, though)
We even did a concert with my cover band after the party, with our SW costumes still on.
I don't think there are any pictures of the concert, though. And the group pic is lame, too
The concert was fine though. I even sang one song and went crowd surfing at the end
Yoda on the drums, Qi Gon-Jinn on the mic, Han, R2 and C3 on various guitars and basses...
Guitars were provided by me: broomstick-shaped, headless ones à la ZZ TOP. I had the black one

Mango: Where did you find that "Awesome" poster? Is there a larger version?

I saw a picture like that in one of the Star Wars Insider magazines that I got. In fact, the picture I saw shows a crowd and Leia with a microphone, wearing the weirdest pants you ever saw!
Yeah, and there's also a picture that shows Boss Nass, Darth Maul, and a couple others doing music. Again from the Star Wars Insider. I guess it's a Prequel version of the "Awesome" picture.

OK, now I'm certainly not posting the photographs from our party.
Mango's pic tells the tale better than any of my photographs could.
The other guys are not accurately represented, but my part was exactly it.
I played a black, headless guitar, with lots of unbelievable electronics attached to it.
And for the first few songs I had kept my helmet on (had to take it off for singing ).
So, in my case, "It Will Never Be as Awesome as This Picture Again"...
