The resolution was to high. Im using the german quertz layout. The button is left from nr.1 on a german Layout.
Ah, glad to hear it works now. Hopefully that bug will be fixed in a future version of the Daodan DLL.
byproducts are fine, but where's the beef?
For some reason it seems like loading Junkyard or Arena of hurt levels, somehow disables the brutal AI mod, and I have to restart the game in order to restore it. It makes the whole thing unenjoyable.

how do you know that ? how do you know brutal ai mod is disabled ?
it doesn't disable it. however these mods come with their own melee profile that includes the melee profiles for the custom characters that appear in junkyard and it will use that melee profile instead of brutal AI. but that effect is localized in those levels brutal ai mode is still used in the other levels.
I was using the BINACharacter file from Zen Garden Junkyard for my mod AI_Battle and discovered that hardfury and sniper2 have a MeleeId of 0. No wonder hard fury couldn't fight
