Re: Better Warehouse

Didn't tested it on Mac but my PC has a problem with it too.
It turned out that the 3 non-animated RGBA textures came without "little endian data". (LINK expires after package update)
Maybe you used not the current onisplit version 0.9.56.0?

Re: Better Warehouse

Its possible I wasnt using .56 since i just recently (in the past few days) had to reinstall the edition. Might have slipped my mind to check that. Ill upload another updated copy and see if that works.

Re: Better Warehouse

It has been fixed. I'm unable to address any more bugs for now. Checked pretty much every texture inside the game. roll

Re: Better Warehouse

nice work Bozzman .. i really like the warehouse, the boxes look great in particular & interesting choice for the crane tongue
i also like the bot, nice touch of reflectivity ^^
i personally prefer VR's training room textures because i personally like brighter colors more, but urs is very well done as well .

hope to see more retexturing from u ... and i think u can do great things with the new levels that are yet not textured at all, like the hexagon and the level Edt is working on that looks like a park tongue

Re: Better Warehouse

How exactly do I go about retexturing those? And yes my colors are less saturated, I've been trying to find a happy medium between realism and the original art style.

Re: Better Warehouse

Slow upstream connection is slow.  But it's finally up: http://mods.oni2.net/node/186 .  I'm sure you'll want to use that link in place of any MediaFire links that are floating around currently.  And nice job, by the way, I ran through the Warehouse and things are looking sharp, but are still consistent with Oni's original style.

Re: Better Warehouse

Nice work Bozzman, I'm just wondering looking at this image here http://i.imgur.com/NQIj8.jpg is that fence just a single plane with transparency mapped?

Re: Better Warehouse

I'm now trying to decide which HD Training/Warehouse I like better.
EDIT:I think I like Bozzman's better.

Re: Better Warehouse

Would I be able to look at the fence texture and geo? I'm not too sure how to use OniSplit I've looked at some tutorials but just got really confused. I want to take a look because basically originally I was trying to do something similar but for characters hair, or even tears of the clothing but it didn't work.

Cheers

Re: Better Warehouse

yeah Lapis it was said before that transparency on characters works differently than transparency on objects ... so it won't really make a difference.
