Also, that avatar looks great, very well done, cept it doesn't really match the character...

Wow, the new AE is just great! I love it. smile  Thanks everybody for popping up the new AE big_smile.

The new menu and textures are wonderful. I like the blood too smile I wonder what it would be like if I play OTA. Heheh... the floor will be overflow with blood. Sounds interesting... big_smile

(Oh, I was having to prepare for the high-school finals and I just finished it a couple days ago. Phew, it wasn't too bad, I hope. Now I can have free time to play Oni, and modding things too smile, maybe the animations, and AI melee...)

Just installed AE and tried it... it's awesome  big_smile
All the new graphics (especially the Konoko-textures) are amazing.

Only bad thing is, now I find myself being owned by a group of strikers, thanks to the new advanced AI. Just have to rub the rust off my skills...

Glad to hear people are liking it.  And welcome, Sharoduinn.

I don't think I'll really be satisfied with the AE until we add some more new content, but that's next on our to-do list.  Gotta find a way not to have all my time eaten up by work....

Sorry about being a whiner, but as an old-school Oni-fan it's hard for me to accept Konoko having pink hair instead of purple hmm
Also, Shinatamas new avatar, well, just doesn't look like Shinatama... neutral
But I've nothing else to complain about, don't worry roll

Hi guys!
I install Oni and Anniversary Editon after one or more year. My first impresion was "WOW, amazing, I have too small resolution to see the menu" Then i changed it, and started new game. Anoter "WOW", really great loading screen. When I saw new Shinatama avatar, I was wery impressed. It looks like my PC was immpressed too, since Oni blamed.
The strange thing is in windowed mode everything works perfectly. Any one know how repair it? I tryied other resolutions. In 1024x800x16 bits in fullscreen, game worked about 2 min, and then crashed.

Thank you for great job with AE and óni, I`m really impressed about new texstures, and the rest. Good job.

Stevin, those are 2 additional mods u have to download and apply ... they don't come with the AE, it's mentioned in the first post.

but still where does konoko have pink hair :\ ? there's the shiny purple light hair of vicious reilly's ... and the new severed texture package that comes with the AE has ... severed face texture for konoko with kinda shiny purple hair tongue  ... no pink  in either packs neutral 

there are 3 hair styles :

the shiny one form VR's pack

the old severed textures (before the new AE) has bland non shiny purple hair ... and is the one i used in my custom made konoko outfits ( fury, and the severed - VR version)

the new severed texture pack has dark purple hair that looks somewhat shiny similar to the vanilla version hair. (and is the one m gonna use to update my custom made konokos)

EDIT: Hey was the loading screen suppose to look like it was cut off? cuz i dont see the "quit" button and the "options" button is cut off. Cant seem to expand the screen

That's an easy problem. Try changing the higher resolution in Option menu, such as 800x600 or 1024x768 to solve the "cut-off" problem out big_smile

You need to change the resolution to 1024x768 or higher so the loading screen can appear.

Here are some bugs found by OniMiAn's:
1. Shinatama's and Konoko's black or white head.
2. No Russian text. (Fixed by multibyte checkers disabling here - http://cl.ly/1Gwq)
3. Daodan is not working with buka's engine because it does not support it, right? So could you guys please remove "..\" in run_full.bat?
4. In Hasegawa's lab: objects 101, 103 and 104 are not reacting to env_anim.
Func "env_anim", File "dream_lab_main.bsl", Line 103: Illegal token, got "106" expected ";"

run_full.bat launches Vanilla Oni's engine in Edition's directory. OniMiAns have buka's Oni as well so when guys try to start oni in full screen they got some error I don't remember since C-Daodan doesn't support buka's engine.

It was me and Paradox, actually.  But it looks like the install process is not taking the new OBANs in Globalize/oni/level13_Final and putting them into the level files it generates, which puts the problem back in your court, Gumby. :0)
