I sometimes expect people to be like their avatars 0_o Even though I know it's stupid, and a J.Lo pic can conceal an ugly geek (that's why I'm often disappointed in internets people lol).

Me, I avoid using obvious or common user names and icons. Usually funny random pics or something glam. I wish I had a decent hi-res photo of myself, or at least could draw myself good enough. It's hard to live without a camera nowadays
