So Far So Good [Update 2009-10-12 12:50 GMT+ 1]

Here's my Texture Collection, so far. This thread will get updates from time to time. Screenshots vids etc. might get added to some of my work.

- Release notes : I retextured every version of Konoko, for a sharper look. You might not see a big difference, but still...

- Release notes : I thought the black parts of the comguy (and accidentally, the bomber), needed some reflective parts,
                        and a little more sharpend texture, so here it is.

- Release notes : Like the SWAT Elite, I wanted this one to have equal reflective parts, and a retextured skin,
                        so here it is.

Sorry, I haven't got the image files anymore. sad
I thought it wouldn't be necessary, but maybe I'll convert them back to TGAs, and then post them.

Pierre: I sent you an email with a link to the tga textures, so now you have to make Konoko Payne Mac compatible :-P

dream996: You have to patch your copy of the Oni program with a hex editor to see the new textures

EDT can you not use oni.EXE to see it ?

It's actualy simple, just use a hex-editor, to review the .exe, and then edit it.

@ dream996 : It should be on the wiki somewhere.

I might not update this within the next monthes, as this new year in school seems to be alot tougher than I thought.
So I might leave for some time, 'till the next holiday enters.

@Gumby: Doesn't the Daodan DLL add 32-bit texture support?

Well, if the DLL adds 32-bit texture support, then you just download it and use it!  No need to do any hex editing.

ok the last one doesn't work he shows up black ...

I know nothing about hex editing ... why isn' it compatible with the AE edition version ? I have the latest of that ...

please either make it compatible ( like the black strikers they have reflective parts and show well) with the Anniversary or provide a patch or something for it to work

@ Samoko : My uploads might have expired, I'll see what I can do tommorow, because I'm kinda busy at the moment.

According to your problem about the new colour-format; you'll need to search for it on the wiki, there should be something about there.

Basicly what you have to do, is: getting a hex-editor, back-up your .exe incase something goes wrong, search for the specific value in the Oni.exe, replace it with the new one.

EDIT: Here's the page you'll need: http://wiki.oni2.net/Oni_engine_patches_(Win) it should be the first one about RGBA8888.

i would love to see konoko chapter 6 _ trouser

Actualy, it's not shiny. The person who posted this just increased the contrast and gamma by alot.

In fact, I think those are renders from 3ds max or some other 3D tool.  That's why the shading is different from what we're used to in Oni.  But yeah, those textures are probably matte, just like they are in-game.
