Last time I reguarlity checked these forums was back on the now closed ones.
I went by "Me" for a while back when (Was it geyser? It's been forever, and my memory is being hazy.) was trying to make a trainer that would allow for some form multiplayer.
I later came back as Jon God, and registered here when it changed over, but I don't think I ever posted here, though I could be wrong.
Anyways, to the point, there seems to be something going on here with this "Anniversary Edition" and I'm not sure I am fully understanding it, so if someone could fill me in on what I missed? What is AE, and what does it change/how does it work?
Sorry if there's a topic I missed that explained it, but I didn't see a FAQ or anything.

Welcome back, I did see some old posts of yours recently while I was reading some historical topics, but you've probably missed a few developments. The wiki page does a pretty good job of explaining the AE: http://wiki.oni2.net/AE . The major change is a GUI for the Installer and modular packages that make it easy to add/remove individual mods from Oni. And OniSplit can do a lot more than it used to. Not sure how familiar you are with it, since it came out in Nov. '07, but there's a wiki page for that too if you're curious. Still have any questions?

The trainer thing was done by Alloc or NeoNew, I guess. There is a similar, but different project going on at the moment though.

Alloc, that was it, thanks for clearing my memory.
Having trouble a little with AE, I have it installed, but it bounces twice in the dock, then doesn't open.
OSX 10.4.11, Processor: Dual 867Mhz PPC, 2Gbs of RAM, 32MBs VRAM.
Probably just overlooked something, but I am posting my specs if not.

What bounces? Oni, or the Installer?

Oni, I followed the instructions:
moved "edition" to my Oni folder, double clicked the installer, waited, installed a few mods from the list, then tried to open the Oni in the edition folder.

You did start with a fresh install of Oni? With no modifications? From your log, only the level0 files were created. Take a look at the GameDataFolder inside the Edition folder, can you post a screenshot of that folder?

I did, though I haven't restarted, I just realized this might be the problem. I will try later on, and let you know.

Right, I deleted the gamedata folder in the edition folder, and reinstalled with the AE installer and it works.
I think I might have run out of HDD space, and not realized it.
Anyways, how would I go about adding new mods to the list?

Just drop 'em in Edition/install/packages and re-run the Installer to see them show up as options.

Thanks for the help, I am wondering, can you go about installing OTA this way? Or is that still moving folders?

Er, yeah, we haven't made that a package yet. So you would need to do the old "shuffling BSLs around" routine to install a script like that.

No worries.
Who are all the mods now?
Last I remember there was Harry, and another person who never posted.
