Interesting. Reminds me of group theory. I think it is just a question of not confusing 2D and 3D points of view, anyway.

yes i meant what lukas said .. xsi doesn't seem to be able to do that
i was hoping to add some variety to models by mirroring faces or (whatever you want to call it) and modifying them a bit ..ouh well

About XSI mirroring problem.
Modify -> Poly. Mesh -> Symmetrize Polygons - should do the trick
Good luck witch your projects. There are quite interesting.

No problem Samer. Glad to be helpful.
Btw. How Can i upload some mods of my own to this forum?
Do I need upload them on, for example "media fire" end then post the link here, or can I put them directly to the post/topic?
Offline
Well, the forum doesn't support attachments anymore, so to start off you should use a site like MediaFire, yes.
byproducts are fine, but where's the beef?

Ok thanks.
First i must put all those files into single packages ,end then i will post it.
Regarding to package thing i have some questions:
1)Will any number will be god for it(I saw on the forum that moders use for theirs packages defined numbers)
2)How big(i mean in size) the package can be?
Offline
1- I personally have those numbers reserved http://oni.bungie.org/community/forum/v … 119#p36119
this will show you what other numbers are reserved http://wiki.oni2.net/Making_a_mod_package and other tips
usually http://wiki.oni2.net/Anniversary_Editio … _numbering
2- If u're uploading to 3rd party sites doesn't matter .. but if it will be later uploaded to the depot (where most tested and working mods end up) limit is 50 Mb

I have had this question for a long time ... Maybe ltemplar could answer it.
when u import an oni model to xsi from trbs .. How can u view all the textures on the model at the same time ? .. I usually select each indivdual part and then import clip .. But that doesn't make the texture stay on the part .. Hope u understood me.
another questions is there a way to resize the uv maps vertically or horizontally ? In the texture editor if u select the uv maps and press X u can scale them down but proprtionally (length and width together) .. I want to be able to scale them length only or width wise only. ..

I'm isn't sure that i get you right..but if you want to create a patch for materials then you need.
View->Rendering/Texturing->Material menager opened first
Then.
Select a material(doubly left mouse click)End you get the window with selected material in general info there is a patch for all materials
I put here the image for better understanding

EDIT1
Select all chose scale and then, tab and hold middle mouse button(scaling vertically),or right mouse button(scaling horizontally). left click dis selecting. Is this what you need?
