...There were camera controls?  No JelloCam?

Lolz not sure what JelloCam is, but the right stick was used to control the camera while the left stick was for movement. The whole time it felt like the game was built for a mouse, it didnt feel right with the analog

I like controllers better than keyboard/Mouse too. However, Oni for the PS2 was terribly done. hmm

Re: Rockstar Games, the company has developed this game different?

My disbelief earlier stemmed from the statement that Oni had camera controls on the console.  The whole point of the much-talked-about JelloCam was for the camera to require no management from the user.  However, I'm a little confused because one review says, "The controls in Oni put strafing on the left stick and turning on the right".

yup, the way the right stick works is like how the mouse would work on PC. it is used to look up and down, and turn from left to right (aiming pretty much).

Okay, so the camera doesn't move independently from Konoko, then.  I was going to say it would be a bad idea to get rid of the JelloCam on a console.

personally i didn't think the PS2 version was all that bad, it wasn't perfect but it wasn't terrible either.

ehh, maybe it's cause i played the PS2 version first that i don't have too many problems with it lol.

IIRC, Jellocam is the (I believe) in-game name for the system they used for the camera.
basically its what causes the walls to turn transparent when the camera goes behind a wall.

edit. also i believe its the PS2 version that makes me incorrectly remember that beginning training center has you look at the ceiling and walls first, which I didn't discover was wrong until like last year because i tend not to play the training level.
er what i mean is i thought the PC version did it too, but it doesn't. also that konoko's armor was shinier. i think it was more reflective-like in the ps2 version. or am i just making that up?

If I recall, the lighting was slightly different too.
