Russian-Language Community

Hey. I'm curious about the Russian-language community. Anyone have answers to any of these questions?:
How large/active is it?
How much are they and we in contact with each other?
Are they aware of AE/multiplayer?
Are they doing any modding of their own that most of us might not know about?
Do they have their own "movies" section with lots of spiffy stuff that most of us don't know about?

If we're not really in contact with them, I'm thinking I'll probably use Google Translate to go say hi over there.

Re: Russian-Language Community

Onimia is the Russian community: http://onimia.ru/
-Dunno, but from the looks of it's pretty big.
-They have a nice forum.
-Yes. ...I think.
-When I was looking a bit at that forum I saw for example a Konoko in Muro's uniform (Could someone give a me link for it? I wanna see it again)
-Dunno.
Google Translate? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Re: Russian-Language Community

It seems like geyser is still around that board, now and then. I saw that he released the Anniversary Edition at one of the sub-forums.
I believe they're likely to have content for the game, we don't have. We might as well take a look at it from time to time.

Re: Russian-Language Community

The OniMiA community is almost dead. I guarantee it. Old users are gone. New users make 2-3 posts and then leave. Only what-does-persist.dat-do-untermodders and how-do-I-install-AE-consumers left. Almost none of them knows English hence they are not able to self-educate via Wiki since there are no guides in Russian.

Re: Russian-Language Community

Hmmm, that's bad. Anyway what about that Konoko in Muro's suit? I wanna see it again, and tell me, were there any really nice stuff/mods made on OniMia which are available for download there but aren't here, when they should?

Re: Russian-Language Community

Does anyone know what languages Oni has been translated to?

-I noticed that the hackers of oni community made a lot of modifications before they locked me up, do you have any idea what they want with an old game? -Modifications? What kind of modifications?
-Hard to tell, without getting a look at things but it looks like they're repurposing it. -Why?
-Beats me, all the game has is brutal melee combat and furious gunplay. -I dont like the sound of that.....

Re: Russian-Language Community

English dominates evertything on the net sadly. So most people that can't learn english are screwed because a ton of things are in English.
