Actually those are all of our corpses. They kinda freeze at the moment of death.

Re: Flatline Alpha

@oxe161 - lol no problem, I guess.

@myplea1 - wow, that's a lot of konokos.

And I would really play this if it was compatible with multiple windows in one computer... Has someone tested it yet?

Because I broke fullscreen mode on accident trying to fix some code. I'll fix it to use the old code in the next release.

Depends on how you define "in the works".

Stop casting aspersions on Mac MP.  It's in the works.

Besides, does Flatline work on Windows 7? Or XP only?

Flatline will work on all versions of Windows. Oni MP for the Mac will not be compatible with Flatline, and will have no association with me.

Re: Flatline Alpha

Sadly a lot of the people on the map probably don't come around anymore, and the newer members probably aren't on there.  There's people on that map from the era of the previous forum.

Try this one guys. Corpse bugs fixed, scoreboard reworked. Tell me if it crashes and what you did if it did crash.

Re: Flatline Alpha

lol, I wouldn't mind testing it with you. It is possible to test over internet, as I did with Gumby, however you gotta make sure you have port 27777 forwarded, if that means anything to you tongue

Don't worry Gumby, I'm excellent at crashing games. I do game testing for my coop at school soz smile

If we don't change the direction we're going, we'll likely end up where we're headed.

Re: Flatline Alpha

Well when playing its better to be hosting.

Server side is fine with minimal lag, but when you get to the client, it can get hard too play.
Lag spikes make combat difficult.

But besides that I think we're well on our way to having an almost fully functional Oni Flatline

(Did I ever mention I liked the name?)

Re: Flatline Alpha

Yup, still plenty of kinks to work out, but what's to be expected from an alpha anyways right?

And hey, while me and Simon may be our only Local testers, we also managed to connect to Gumby over internet. I'm guessing that others would also be able to. Perhaps a few of us could organize a game with Gumby as host to try it out with more then one player?

Also, if anyone interested in trying out the alpha who has YIM, would you PM me so I can add you? That way if we were to coordinate a test, we would have some way of communicating quicker than forum messages

How can it suck? It works, doesn't it? Now it's just bug fixing and updates from here. I don't believe Gumby would let the fellow Mac users down. smile

Re: Flatline Alpha

Uploaded a new version. The version I had up crashed on connect. neutral Also fixed: throwing crashes. Added: ping to scoreboard. I'll update it later to a more accurate version.

Within the next few days I should have a version up with MAJOR lag reduction. It will just take a few hours to code. smile

A great thing would be editable player names, so you can have your own nickname. smile
