If you mean the lips, they protrude a bit in the highest LOD.

How did you guys learn all that computer stuff?
Damn! i'm stuck here on a 98 that can't even run CS and you can make Oni dance on puppet strings.
I'm green with envy.

Re: Konoko CG

Well, on the topic of 3D, I happen to have come across a copy of Maya 7, and am now trying to re-teach myself. I did a short render of a sweeping camera of the iron demon file that we came across a while ago. Sure, it's only a 2 second render test, but seeing as we're in the mood for 3D...

Re: Konoko CG

Itsemo,
Hm... actually, I am not totally convinced with  your vertex mapping ...

So I've decided to  toy with your reference plates and  added a few scrabbles on them. The lines highligh a simplified anathomy for Kon's face.
I hope this will help you somehow.

Re: Konoko CG

katze7: With the Anniversary Edition, you now can export Konoko and other character models as either .obj or .dae formats, so you don't have to start from scratch.

Hello,

Here I present my project to modelise Konoko in 3D. I had this project in mind for 3 years now, but I lacked the time to realize it until now.

My goal is to model her as we see her on this pick, carring guns, wearring her fighting suit.

its shit that u cant use that rifle in the game.. are there any ppl who are making new weapons for the game ? smile

onistandeeartbw8.jpg

I based my roughs on all the wallpapers about her, and fortunatly, I had this pic of her face, so, i didn't had to draw it tongue (i'm a very bad drawer)

konheadlo7.jpg

Well. The first step was to make her body, and here are the pics.

I assume that it looks more like a big-boobed alien than our beloved Konoko, but it should look better when I'll skin the eyes, and make her hairs and eyesbrow. Then, I may change a bit her face if it still look weird (remember I used original picture of her face to make it).

I'm opened to every suggestions, I want it to be as perfect as possible smile

The next step will be to modelise the Hughes Black Adder SMG, I want to go back a bit to a more "squarred" modelisation after so many organics forms tongue

[Edit1] : huho, FTP problems >.<, that sux, I gonna fix it

[Edit2] : ok, it's solved smile enjoy.

You play to much oni if: You paint your hair purple, call your little brother Muro and beats him up 3 times a day like this...

Re: Konoko CG

I'll say something:  That model's legs are too long and large compared to the body.  But it looks pretty good overall.

Re: Konoko CG

I'm back !

Now I'm a 3D artist on behalf of game industry and I gained some experience with somes tools and anatomy.

Few days ago, inspired from some pictures, I went back to my old Konoko CG project and I reworked the Black Adder SMG. Within the next months, I may work on her, aside from my other projects. Right now, I just have to do her top armor, and to grow her hair, before further improvements.

See you soon !

Re: Konoko CG

Oh, you're Triak?!  It's been a while!  In fact your last post was shortly before I joined the forum!  Sorry about what happened to your thread here.  But since you've been gone, we've expanded our modding abilities quite a bit, as you may have read.  Model and weapon imports are very doable, and we're still working on levels.  And there's some cool stuff to come.  Anyway, welcome back, hope to see more of your work.

Re: Konoko CG

Here comes Black Adder 2010. I'll work on material and textures later, when Konoko will be finished. I'm planning to use a software to make procedural textures, instead of painting/using pictures in Photoshop. Procedural textures are pictures made from mathematical algorythms. Look at what this guy made with kind of such stuff : http://lebulb.fr/online/gribeauval/Grib … p%2014.jpg I'm curious to see what I will be able to make.
blackadder201002.jpg
blackadder201001.jpg

Thus, I looked a bit at my old Konoko. She is horribly bad made. Looks like I'll have shitload of work.
In the end, I want to make a turntable with her. In CG graphics, turntable doesn't refer to the DJ's tool tongue but it's a kind of presentation, as if our model was a figurine, posing on a pedestal, like that : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpEyZemf46k

I'm going to pose her close to what we can see in this wallpaper : http://membres.multimania.fr/coleno/fonds/oni_1.jpg , with heavy flames going out of the muzzle brake of her gun, as if we took a photograph at the moment she pushed the tumbler.
See you later for the next step !

Re: Konoko CG

Sharp-looking guns!  I can relate to the part about looking back at my old work.  Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and do it right the first time so I didn't have to re-do something from scratch.  Although your Konoko model looked good, but I'm guessing the method of construction is where the problem is?
