New Character *** Kojiro 3.0 *** new version updated on 23/06/2020

Adds Kojiro Muro's right hand guy and communications trooper.

He has a unique look, custom daodan glow, and health regenerating ability.
Comes in 4 variants: Goggles, No goggles, Daodanized, and Business Suit.
Part of the Saisei (health regenerating) team. 

His moves are a mix of different syndicate forces including ComGuy, Tanker, and Ninja,
In addition to some unique ones of his own. He has:
PPK combo
Back Forward Kick (Willow Kick Equivalent),
Unique Forward Kick throw.
Unique Heavy Kick utilizing The "Radio Saber" sound.

*To be able to regenerate he must be given Barabas's combat ID = 9 in the BINACJBOCharacter file.
(only as AI, not player)

Version 3.0 Change Log:
*Reduced chenille custom particles to 2 instead of 6.
*Removed custom contrails and replaced with Mukade's (they were both red anyway).
*Removed the vest outfit (Kojiro_b)
*Texture improvements to his original outfit (goggles).
*Removed reference to Skull team and replaced with the new Saisei logo.
*Added a variant without goggles.
*Added a suit outfit.
*Added a Daodanized form. 
*His ONCV is now contained in the package and added through a patch to the ONVL.
*Added his custom made Flying Portrait.

Animations: 
*His PPK is now a 2 hit move.
*His back-forward kick animation was sped up. 
*His low kick now applies Hitfootouch.
*His Striker low punch was replaced with a unique much faster one.
*His running throw was changed from Tanker's to Ninja's. 
*Radio saber of the daodanized variant applies particle discharge.
*Removed residual glass breaking particles.
Change Log of Kojiro 2.2:

*Changed PPK combo
*Changed forward kick
*Changed jump kicks
*Fixed missing crouch punch move
*Made some moves harder to block or added invulnerability to compensate for their slowness : example back-forward-kick 
Change Log of Kojiro 2.1:

Added an additional outfit 
Change Log of Kojiro 2.0:

*Complete remake of the model and textures. changed the theme from green and grey to dark grey and red.
*Changed the color of the contrails and the daodan glow to red. (used paradox's chenille for the grey fury)
*Modified the Radio Saber move by increasing its range (now has same range as ninja's heavy punch)
*Added a static kick throw move
*Added a willow kick equivalent (bk_fw_kick)
*Gave him the ability to dash ( press w twice) 
*Smoothed out the transitions of the moves
*Added health regeneration ability (for modders give him Barabas's combat ID = 9 in the BINACJBOCharacter to enable regeneration)
* this package no longer enhances the face texture of other comguys since a better version will be included in my character retexture package.

Yeah, if you could give him that move as the kick special, that'd be great. You don't need permission for that tongue As for the sound part...it should be super_kick, or something...

I always thought "static fist" was kind of an underwhelming move title...  It makes me think of a fist just sitting there motionless in the air.

smile Yeah, nerdily enough when I first learned that definition of static I immediately applied it to Oni in my mind and therefore have thought of the move as underwhelming ever since.

I gave him the move and tweaked it's range and impact ^_^ but i still can't figure out how to make him say "Radio Saber" with it ... should I be looking in the ONCC or in the TRAM of the move ?

Samoko: First you need to add the name of the sound to the ONCC, under the <Sounds> tag.
For example ONCC for Konoko:
        <Sounds>
            <String>c17_99_28konoko</String>
            <String />
            <String />
            <String />
            <String />
            <String />
            <String>c18_79_14konoko</String>
            <String>c18_79_15konoko</String>
            <String />
            <String />
        </Sounds>

Then in the TRAM you add that to the <Vocalization> tag. 

For example in Konoko's punch heavy TRAM look for the tag <Vocalization>6</Vocalization>. The number 6 refers to the 6th string.  Though, you start counting from 0 that gives you <String>c18_79_14konoko</String>

looks great, and myplea suggested that you could in fact replace the comguy right before the final fight with him smile

oK I really wanted to try my best before I ask .. and I did ^_^ it's not working for some reason ... no "radio saber" sound

here's what I've done : I found out that the radio saber sound is SNDDc18_79_10comguy.aif

there's an OSBDc18_79_10 (grp & amb) but in fact they link to c18_79_11  -not 10- which is the "static fist" sound .

so I copied that OSBD renamed it to OSBDkojiroc18_79_11 and made it link to the static fist sound SNDD...11  this i put in the 6th slot for the super punch in the ONCC

i made another OSBD named it OSBDkojiroc18_79_10 made it link to SNDDcomguy..10  which is the radio saber ... and put it in the 7th slot (counting the 0) in the ONCC ...
then opened the tram of the modified move and changed the number in the vocalization from 65535 to 7.
converted all to oni put in package ( the sounds and move) and installed ...
the static punch sound plays while the radio saber with super kick doesn't hmm !
with developer mode on, it doesn't say anything ...

what did i miss O_O ?

I have been able to give the sound "radio saber" to the heavy punch however ... so the OSBD and links are fine ... i think it's something in the tram  but i don't know what .

I also noticed that tanker doesn't say anything when he performs that move either.

Exactly which TRAM were you trying to give the radio saber sound. 

Also, in the ONCC check the section:

he's done basically but I want to make him a bit more unique ... what determines the contrail colors ^_^ ? in the particles i found this BINA3RAPh2h_comtrail_e01 and in it the tint which indicated blue i changed it to green renamed it and changed it's name in the oncc too ... is there another file that determines it ? cz it's till blue smile

Uh, after the first save point in the ACC interior in that weird little area off to the left of the electrical beam current thing you have to run across, I flew over there with nocollision and suddenly Muro just ran out of the empty room and started fighting me.  Then I played it again and noticed that Muro and a ComGuy actually run by over there.  I'd noticed the ComGuy but I never noticed Muro somehow.  Hm.

That ComGuy is def Kojiro.  smile

I found his name in dev's mod the list that comes up when u shapeshift it ofund his name but it wasnt his model or moveset said something about unloadable.

Yeah, same here.  There was some error over him (and over someone else...  Motoko, I think.  I didn't go through the whole list so there might be more)

Oh I never did that character variant fix.  Maybe that's the problem.  I'll test that.

Guys please, please follow the instructions precisely in the readme or it will not work ! U HAVE TO DO THE CHARACTER VARIANT THING BEFORE U INSTALL THE PACKAGE !! IF U FORGOT hit install again .

and as EdT said i need more details to know what is going wrong ...

the package folder goes into the install packages folder ... the files in the character variant go into the folder specified in the readme
