Hee hee, I *wish* I could draw an Oni comic book.  Those are drawn by Sunny Lee, or at least I think she did the pencilwork (Lorraine did the covers).

This makes me want to mod Oni even more. Heck, why we can't experience such a story (even tough it was cliched, I know)? today is mine last night shift, then I have spare time again. Time to DO something.... ^_^

P.S.: And one funny thing: 3rd comics, Ben is starting his underground "town". The process looks pretty similar to our community, don't you think? And if you consider it that way, then Syndicate and that final big fight....oh gosh, Harry and Geyser will be the only survivors ^_^'.

Clichéd is indeed the word for it.  I pretty much rolled my eyes at the point where we find out that children (well, child SLDs) are hiding underground.  But it's true that it would be fun to mod an entirely new scenario with new enemies and its own plot.  I was thinking the other day that, lacking voice actors, we'd probably have to convey the dialogue entirely with subtitles.  That would make it hard to make the story engaging.

In any case, that kind of extensive mod is pretty far away, don't you think?  Then again, it would be a good warmup for Oni 2... ;-)

And the Syndicate would be who?  A certain company that decides to sue us for infringement on an IP? :-S

But I think more than two SLDs survived.  The leader kid says, "But what about me and the rest of the SLDs?"  So there's hope for us yet.
