Rayman (Rayman 2 in specific) is one of my favorite games besides Oni ... so what's better than combining the two
this package will add Rayman as a playable character to Oni !
Rayman will be able to throw energy balls. 2 types of energy balls : first one triggered by punch : a quick energy ball with low damage. Second one triggered by forward punch : slower but more powerful and causes knockdown. He can also throw energy balls while moving left and right and while jumping.
Rayman will have custom original Rayman sounds, including hurt, death, alert, startle, super moves and taunt sounds
Custom heavy kick and custom heavy punch; the rest of his moves are Konoko's
The package also includes a Bonus weapon *Rayman Fist* w28_rayfst which can be held by any character and allow you to shoot those cool energy balls with its two firing modes. (I got this idea from the Prince of Persia game which had rayman fist as a bonus secret weapon too)
May cause a particle overload when installed with other mods with custom particles for more info see here
Rayman may hit himself with the energy ball while side jumping and shooting but no damage is dealt.

yeah I wanted to try the tutorial on something simple I wasn't sure how the whole rotation and matching thing will turn out + I was thinking I wanted a mega pack exclusive character that is just funny\cute then i came across the model on the site .. and it will also be a chance to test that particle shooting ^_^

I matched him to shinatamatoo and used her biceps and wrists and pelvis and other parts but textured them with an invisible texture
It's so funny to see him do the devil spin kick and running lariat !
yeah script I know he doesn't fit with ONI he's just meant to be funny, easter egg or bonus or whatever you call it .. even in prince of Persia game u get his fist as a hidden weapon
That is a great screenshot you posted on the other thread.
Maybe as a long term project, you/we can make a new level mod that is totally not related to Oni. But filled with other well known characters. Why not use the Oni engine for some fun!
Yeah i meant to do something similar to that as a bonus round in a 'custom character' challenge level which i'm hoping to include with the mega pack (waiting for lucas's help building the level) .. but it would be awesome to make a level using those ''outsiders'' and using elements and textures that look like those games .. Sort of a dream level where konoko is dropping in several games and seeing/battling those characters ..
btw i'll decrease rayman's size a bit more and his feet are floating a little bit ..

mm guys any idea how i can fix the feet floating issue ?
I though i'd just lower the pelvis of the model in xsi .. but in game it's like, it resets .. If i freeze the pelvis translation it also doesn't change :\
EDIT: ok never mind I was using the dae from ONCC it worked when i used the dae from TRBS directly

what might be the final version
he can now jump and shoot, and strafe left, right and shoot, the forward punch launches a bigger more damaging energy ball that knocks down enemies ..
he is meant to be just a fun bonus character when u're in the mood to throw energy balls around .. Other characters with energy attacks will be more balanced.
guess he needs sounds now

Interesting.. but i still think that aiming screen is set to high.

do you have any suggestions for sounds for rayman ? currently he's using shini bot's which sound weird. (hurt sounds, death sounds)
