No sound at all

Hi,

There seems to be no sound at all on my version of Oni. I recently bought the game on eBay for 10 dollars and the sound of it doesn't seem to work, I've installed the Anniversary Editiion and also the patched EXE and binkw32.dll file, as well as me checking to see if the volume is on mute. Which it is not.

I hope the issue can be resolved for me, otherwise my 10 dollars has pretty much gone down the drain .

Guide for Windows XP and Vista

Windows 7 is pretty much the same thing.
Just keep in mind that your sound card is usually the only item you will find under "sound, video and game controllers".

Well what would you know, I uninstalled and re-installed with the CD and I used this:

Put all of the files in the vanilla directory and the sound is back. Heh.

Well I'm gonna install Anniversary Edition now and see if that causes the problem; don't think it will, though.

Edit: Nope, a clean re-install seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the help! (Anniversary Edition works fine, too!).
