Re: Konoko Fan Art

For me it should be a little less hair but veil covers it well. Also she looks too cheerful but I got used to see her as harsh and still sad woman it is probably it. But nevertheless it IS still great, I wish I could draw like this too. To bad I do not tongue

Re: Konoko Fan Art

Sorry I didn't reply the first time. Nice style. Let's see more.
(BTW, I'd suggest to keep everything in a single thread...)
@Luk's "cheerful". Guess who drew this little goodie:

Behold the power of that which is yet unborn! For the swirling images that flow forth from the Chrysalis are only a shadow of the sleeper's true power.

Re: Konoko Fan Art

Oh,the 'Bungie 10year' is really great, I've never tried drawing so many people at a time.....
When I play it, I can't draw. Now I can make it, my Oni is gone...

Re: Konoko Fan Art

Konoko in dresses... now she reminds me of Buffy ^^ I once tried to draw her in a cheerful manner too, namely in a bikini and with a glass in her hand. Unfortunately I'm not a very good drawer so I used another picture as a model for the face and in the end I couldn't find a fitting smiling mouth and didn't know why... until I realised that the rest of the face looks serious and a smile changes the structure - and now I don't dare to change it because it became rather good except for the smile. So I guess Adult Shinatama will stay the only Oni picture I publish

Anyway, *your* picture is really good wink

You're all like... like big fat failure turtles!

In the same vein, I quite like this one:

Re: Konoko Fan Art

I like the style and the lineart of the stuff you have arranged here.  For sure it is all better (and more captivating) than the DH comic.
Despite Bungie's attempt to give Oni a unique graphic outlook, the game didn't catch the eye of so many fan-artists.  Looking at DeviantArt there are quite a few people who keep drawing pieces related to Oni... (there is much more fanart coming around for far worse games, as I see)

Matashima, you are strongly encouraged to post more works of yours. Seriously, you may exploit this forum to discuss your works and improve your skills and your technique.

What if this is as good as it gets?
