FRAPS question :)

As others have suggested I thought it's a good idea to make videos of my mods in action

so I got FRAPS the full version ^_^

but I'm having some problems and I didn't find a solution on their site and I thought u guys probably know it more .

1- It isn't recording Oni's sound I tried the 2 options "Detect Best Sound" and "Use windows input" with no luck

2 - is the file size supposed to be this big :S ?
for a minute 30 sec i got 184 Mb :S that will take me a week to upload
is there other tips ? I set the resolution to 640 x 480 and to record half .

1. You might have to configure your soundpannel.
2. It is that big, you'll have to edit it a video editing software, like Windows Movie Maker.

Yeah the videos are huge, I convert 'em with Windows Movie Maker, or you can find other video conversion software online.  ImTOO is a good one.

Also...  Do you have "record sound" checked?  Lol.  That's the best idea I've got.

you right ......the reason u had the file so big is...because u used the high quailty ....like big screen....so it will take u a long while to upload...or u need some sort of editing

TOCS thanks I think it is in my sound panel but I can't figure it out still

Leus I use "Format Factory" to convert my video files a free program with speed and covers a wide variety of file types ^_^

Make sure "Record Sound" and "Detect best sound input" are checked.

Use this to compress the files. 10 min vid is often 2.7 GB!

I can't remember exactly on how you do it.. Play a little around with the input and output, and you'll hit the right configuration. Well that's what I did.

I gave up on the sound :S It's something software related with my PC ... so i just put some overlay music ^_^  the options in Fraps are selected correctly

but in case anyone had this problem before ( once i record the input of the recording automatically switches to Microphone instead of Stereo in the sound panel :S

Anywho I made a video of Casey fighting against Muro and then BGI agents ... Casey being the player \ me ... it's about 8 Mb but  I'm having trouble uploading to YouTube ... :S connection breaks

any other sites Oni- friendly I can upload too ^_^ ?

or if someone can do me a favor :$ I can send it to them as a hotmail attachment ( that works for some reason) and they can upload it to YouTube ?

i know what the problem is ........i had the exactly smae problem with the goldwave.......
this morning ....but i cant really explain it.....#

1.have u checked    IN     the control panel ?

WOO! great vid samer, you obvisously know Casey very well, and you use your escape moves almost flawlessly. I <3 the music btw xD

And what is with your regenerating health? Is that your own thing, Casey or what?

yay someone finally saw it !!
the regeneration is elderrune cheat :$ I didn't want him to die before I finish the video xP but it turned out I didn't really need it.

and I knew you in particular, would like the music  Angel & Buffy theme songs

dream yes I have that problem with gold wave too :\ I've never been able to successfully record from pc sound when I think about it :\ I think it has something to do with my computer having a TV tuner ... might be an incompatibility issue .
thanks I will recheck some stuff and search for a solution online or something
