Works like a charm. You just gotta spray the whole nest, or every inch of it you can get to.

Re: Bees Bees BEES!

I had some yellowjackets in a large nest in my lawn with two exits.  I found the exits by accidentally stepping on them and getting stung repeatedly sad  Anyway, I used some wasp/hornet spray for those, just spraying into the holes for half a minute around dusk when they were sleepy.  Never heard from them again.  Feel a little guilty about it, actually, but I didn't have any other options after I realized how much of the lawn they were taking over.

Re: Bees Bees BEES!

They can't be "immune".

Do they look like http://www.animalsintheattic.com/_wizar … jacket.jpg ?

Man yellow jackets/hornets/wasps are fuckin' intense IMO.

I have a few softball-football sized nests close to eachother next to my house. *sigh* That reminds me, I gotta pick up a few cans of spray soon...

Re: Bees Bees BEES!

I don't see how they can be immune to insect spray, unless they're... superbees.

Re: Bees Bees BEES!

Wasps are more aggressive than bees, probably because they don't die if they sting you.

Anyway, we have lots of wasp nests in our garden and under the roof tiles and I haven't been stung for about 15 years. Sometimes one comes in through the window and flies around for a while, then leaves again. If you leave them alone they will leave you alone, so if they're outside your house I wouldn't worry too much (unless you've got a super-infestation like Iritscen that is).

If you live in the northern hemisphere they'll die soon anyway.

you want my opinion oxe? Take a superball gun and shoot it.... although if you want your house to survive i'd suggest swatting them one at a time, ive never heard of wasps being immune to swatting :3

Re: Bees Bees BEES!

You probably shouldn't have done anything to prevent them from getting back into their nest.  They're more likely to die if they get in there, after all.  At the most, they will probably just go back in to "pack their bags" and then move out.

Re: Bees Bees BEES!

When I was a kid, We used to have Yellow Jackets hang around in our parents car awhile back. They placed allot of nests in the trunk and every time one of us tried to open the truck. They would come out and try to sting one of us. I tell you that wasn't fun. I think they made a nest out of the whole entire vehicle. What's scary is when you find out you had your bedroom window open. And they made a nest in your room. Try sleeping in your room at night knowing theirs a nest in your room by your window.
