Oni with Japanese language?

If you scroll a little down you'll see the credits.. Most of their names are Japanese.. And then again if you scroll a little more down you'll see that there's also english voice actors? So, does Oni exists with Japanese language?

Seems like there's no such thread on onimia... maybe it's here somewhere or RedDog (onimia's moderator) deleted that thread. anyways, the download opportunity in english internets is less than nothing. IMO.

Well, there's no japanese audio in English version at all. (As I remember) So you can't just "enable" it. If you find jap Oni somewhere in a galaxy far far away, maybe it will be possible. "Use the Force, Luke".

There is a Youtube video of a Japanese trailer, but the game isn't for sale anywhere in Japanese.

The language in the trailer is Japanese, which does not sound or look at all like Korean. Also, I see that Oni is being sold second-hand on Amazon Japan, and it's the localized Japanese version. But it's pretty expensive and can't be exported, so I only point this out to provide a definitive "Yes" to Rexxar's original question.

I would like to have a Japanese version of Oni too, but it seems impossible to me. There is a video of Oni in Japanese language:

The audio of Japanese version is good. I like it very much.

It would be cool if we could provide an option for Japanese audio, but it would also be illegal because of various rights held by the companies that localize and distribute Oni in different places.

To be exact, yes, posting any data from the game for use by someone who doesn't own that version of the game is illegal. But some data is less of a problem to upload than other data. If someone uploads the objective text for Oni in English, I don't see a problem with that and it's highly unlikely that Take Two would either. But the voices were recorded by actors, working for a localization group, and for a version of the game only sold in another country, so it would be more likely to become an issue if we uploaded that data. It's basically a question of scale. We've uploaded small amounts of Oni data many times over the years, but you'll notice that we've never made an entire level available for download.

No, I meant Oni's original levels. In fact, there were already two new "levels" that were made available for Oni, although they're just empty maps. Then someone made one into an OTA arena. See the Modification Diary thread, section VI, for the "Hexagon" level. In fact, someone even customized an existing Oni level and uploaded that (the "Arena of Pain" on the Depot), but that's getting into that shaky legal area we try to avoid.
